The next two days passed in a blink of an eye, Taehyun's life seemed to get happier and he spent the whole night after the 'date' thinking about the offer that was given to him.

To some it might seem like an easy offer, just accept the money, go to the event and get famous and rich, and by the way leave your friend alone and enjoy your new, fancy life.

He has been thinking about the positive impacts of it, well, there are alot. He will get rich, leave his abusive guardians, enjoy his rich life and much more.

But, on the other side, he will have to betray Beomgyu, the boy who could ruin his life and start bullying him, but he didn't and that's what matters. He even knows his secrets and past, but he chose to comfort Taehyun and be with him instead of making fun of him.

It might seem stupid, but to Taehyun, Beomgyu means a lot, not only did he become his friends when the world seemed to be against him, but he also made his life happier and show him what's behind the lonely doors of the room taehyun had created for himself.

After a few minutes of more thinking, he finally decided on what he is gonna say, it seems like the best choice for him.

"No"

"What do you mean no, have you gone crazy? '' Mr. Kim asked him with a stern look.

"I don't want to go to the event and replace Beomgyu " he answered confidently, acting as if he wasn't just shaking in his room thinking of how to handle the situation.

"That boy is not even worth it, once you get rich and famous everyone will want to be your friend, you won't be needing him as a friend," Mr. Kim said.

"He is an important person in my life, I've lost everyone I had in my life, I can't risk losing him just so you can have a few more pennies in your pocket Mr. Kim!" This was the first time he was talking back to him like that, and it was quite impressive for someone like Taehyun.

"The fuck you mean a few pennies? Do you even know how rich you will get once everyone thinks of you as Mr. Choi's son?-" Mr.Kim raised his voice, he grabbed a handful of Taehyun's hair and threw him on the ground.

"LET GO OF ME YOU ASSHOLE!" Taehyun screamed as he tried to remove the old man's filthy hands from his hair.

"Asshole? You know who you are talking to? I have the potential to kill you right now and send you to the place where your stupid of a mother is right now. It's either you say yes or you will get a good beating from me" he said and slapped the boy.

"I will never change my answer, you can't force me even if it kills me! Beomgyu matters to me more than you and your fucking boss!" Taehyun managed to say despite the burning feeling of the pain that was left in his abdomen each time he was kicked brutally.

"What are you, a fucking gay? Do you like him that much? Well guess what you f@ggot, you won't leave this house until I see you breathe your last breaths." he laughed like a maniac as he grabbed Taehyun and threw him across the wall, making him groan out of pain.

The abuse went on for what seemed like hours, receiving punches and kicks until he didn't even feel the pain, getting thrown everywhere like clothes and bleeding.

He could barely open his eyes but he could see the man walking towards him after throwing him across the room, a wicked smirk plastered across his old, wrinkly face.
