Maxie sat back as the plane took off with confusion and fear in her eyes as Nathan held her hand.

Nathan looked sweetly at Maxie "When we get to Portland you will find Georgie waiting for you. She loves you and I'm sure she is okay. You are going to be okay."

Maxie said sadly "Once I see her little face I will believe you."

They talked all the way to Portland and got off the plane.

They were greeted by a tall dark man with semi dark skin and quite the head of hair.

Maxie got a little curious about him and asked "Hi who are you?"

The man replied shaking her hand "I'm detective Jamison. We spoke on the phone."

Maxie looked at her boyfriend jokingly "Oo he's kind of cute."

Nathan looked at Maxie with an almost death gaze "Really Maxie you want to do that now?"

Maxie made a frown "I was joking Nathan. You know I only love you."

Nathan held her close to his side as he said "So detective Jamison how long have you been on the Portland PD?"

Detective Jamison told him "I have been on the force for two years and a detective for almost one."

Maxie was impressed "That's like my boyfriend here. He was not a officer long when he became a young detective in New York."

Nathan jumped in "So what if anything can you tell me about Spinelli?"

Detective Jamison led them to the police station to talk to Spinelli.

Maxie ran into the interrogation room shouting "What did you to Georgie?"

"Fair Maximista you came. Just like I hoped you would. Where is your dashing detective?" Asked Spinelli

"I'm right here. What did you to Georgie?" Nathan asked

"I did nothing. The men in blue have just tried to pin a crime on me I did not commit." Stated Spinelli

Maxie looked at him in confusion.

Nathan asked "If you did nothing to Georgie why is she in the hospital?"

"I was not the reason for the accident. Someone else was the perpetrator." Exclaimed Spinelli

Nathan left the police station with Maxie fearing Spinelli would lead them nowhere so they went to the hospital.

When they arrived they were greeted by none other than Ellie Trout.

"Maybe you can tell me what your nerd boyfriend did to put my daughter in the hospital." Said Maxie

"That was an accident from what I heard. Damien could not have purposely harmed his child in that way. He's a good man." Exclaimed Ellie

Nathan in detective mode "I know we barely got to know each other but I get the feeling you are just covering for Spinelli."

"I resent that statement Detective West. I would never lie for Damien. Yes I love him but I have morals!" Exclaimed Ellie

"Obviously the wonder nerds are no help. They're clearly covering for each other." stated Maxie

Nathan took Maxie's hand and they went to find Georgie.

When they did they were terrified at the sight.
