Wonder Nerds vs Naxie (1/3)

Untitled Part 22

The man who had taken Nathan's gun spoke and he immediately recognized his voice.

Nathan "I thought you were dead?"

Voice "I've died many times Detective West."

Nathan "Victor how do you know this psycho who claims to know who my father is?"

Victor "Because I told him.  Helena knows, your mother knows, your aunt Madeline knows."

Nathan "So I'm the only one who doesn't know?"

Victor "Our friend here holds many secrets.  He knows so much through Nikolas and Helena."

Nathan "If Maxie is in trouble I have to get to her.  My babies could be in danger."

Voice "I'm sure detective Falconeri is with your girlfriend and her babies right now."

Nathan "I need to get to her at the hospital."

As Maxie was brought in to the hospital Dr Obrecht rushed to her side "My darling babies must be alright.  Call Dr Curtis immediately."

Patrick paged Dr Curtis "Ive got a woman who needs immediate assistance with a twin pregnancy."

Dr Curtis rushes to her side "Yes Miss jones where is the father?"

Maxie (in pain) "I don't know.  He won't answer his phone."

Dr Curtis "We will check you out right now and hopefully he will show up momentarily."

Maxie "He better or I may go strangle him once I do see him."

Dr Curtis takes her into an examination room only to feel the need to admit her.

Maxie "What is it?  Are the babies okay?  They aren't going to die are they?  I almost died giving birth to my daughter."

Dr Curtis "Don't worry I will make sure those babies have every chance to survive."

Back on spoon island Nathan was still being held by Victor Cassadine and his friend.  

Victor "Ah the lovely mother to be is being admitted into the hospital.  I'm sure her friend Lulu Falconeri is by her side.  I would certainly hate to be you right now.  She must be furious you're not there to witness the premature birth of your twin girls."

Voice "Well the lovely Maxie Jones will just have to settle for a friend watching her.  I'm no where near being done with our new detective friend."

Victor "Perhaps I should send her a message."

The other man presses record on Nathan's phone recording him "Maxie I'm sorry.  I should've listened to you.  You wouldn't be in the hospital without me.  I'm part of some game that I don't understand."

The voice spoke one sentence on the video "Ah Miss Jones I congratulate you on your baby girls."

At the hospital Maxie opened the video file to see Victor holding Nathan and then heard the other voice.

This voice brought immediate fear into her mind heart and body.

She knew this voice from previous encounters and was hoping Nathan would never meet him.  

She showed Dante Lulu Patrick Sam and Mac who said "Oh my god he's back.  He has Nathan.  What does he want with him?  The last time we saw him it ended horribly."

Maxie "What does he want with Nathan?  Could he really know Nathan's true paternity?"

Sam "With that sick freak who knows.  He could be tricking Nathan."

Dr Curtis told everyone but Lulu to leave the room.
