Wonder Nerds vs Naxie (1/3)

A voice spoke in the dark that was deep and unfamiliar "Ah detective West.  You decided to show up.  I'm so glad you could join me in my little game."

Nathan "I don't know who you are.  I will stop you if this is a trick."

Voice "Uh uh uh not so fast detective west" as a man walks to him relieving Nathan of his gun.

Nathan "Just because you took my gun doesn't mean I can't stop you."

Voice "Oh I've died and come back to life many times Detective.  Most of the town knows me but I've never had the pleasure of meeting you."

Nathan "Who are you?"

Voice "I can't just give myself away.  That's not part of the game."

Nathan "Why should I listen to you?  I have no reason to trust anything you say."

Voice "You're right you don't.  However I know who your father is and so does my friend.   Come show yourself."

A man revealed himself to Nathan and he was shocked.

Meanwhile Maxie was getting worried not hearing from Nathan.

Georgie looked up at her "Mommy sad?"

Maxie "Yes mommy is sad.  Nathan hasn't calle me yet to tell me he's okay.  He promised he would."

Georgie "Nay Tuh bye bye."

Maxie "Yes he is gone.  I don't know where he is."

Suddenly Maxie gets a knock on her door and sees Dante.

Dante "Hey Maxie you haven't heard from Nathan have you."

Maxie "No and he's frustrating me to no end."

Dante "Oh boy.  This isn't good."

Maxie "Dante what do you know?  Do you know anything?  Is this a trap?"

Dante "All I know is he was sent to spoon island on his own."

Maxie "I told him it must be a trap.  Nothing good happens on spoon island."

Dante "Well barely anything good.  There's been a few good things."

Maxie "If some psycho wants my boyfriend to play a game to find out who his father might be it's not a good thing.  Given the options of who could possibly know anything like Madeline Dr Obrecht Nina Helena VIctor...."

Dante "Helena is off somewhere and Victor is dead."

Maxie "I don't care much for anyone who may know."

Dante "I know you don't.  Especially Helena and Victor."

Maxie "I just want Nathan home.  Before I lose it and wind up in the hospital in early labor."

Dante "You're carrying twins you need to rest.  You need to calm down and let me figure out who is involved."

Maxie "I can't rest without knowing he is okay.  I need to hear his voice."

Dante "Just rest.  I'm sure he will call soon."

Maxie "I will rest once he calls."

Dante "Seriously it will kill Nathan if anything happens to his babies."

Maxie suddenly feels extreme pain.

Dante "Maxie?  Maxie?"

Maxie falls to the ground and Dante calls it in.

She gets rushed to the hospital and Dante calls and texts Nathan "Nathan buddy Maxie just got admitted into the hospital she needs you man.  Get your ass off spoon island and call Maxie now. Better yet get your ass to the hospital."

At spoon island the man saw Nathans phone and said "Ah looks like someone is going to he a father.  Possibly sooner rather than later."
