New Year's Eve 2015~

Maxie was still in the hospital getting on and off checkups for the baby and she visited Nathan daily.

Maxie took his hand this day "Nathan it's our day. I need you to wake up. I love you. I miss you. Our baby is growing. We need you to wake up."

She laid her head on the edge of the bed and an hour later she felt something.

Nathan opened his eyes in confusion "Where am I? What happened?"

Maxie "Let me go get your doctor."

Nathan "Are you my nurse? You're pretty."

Maxie "Nathan stop. You're scaring me."

Nathan "Stop what? I don't know you."

Maxie "Nathan don't I'm your girlfriend."

Nathan "I think I'd know if I had a girlfriend as beautiful as you."

Maxie "Please tell me you're joking. Today is our day Nathan."

Nathan "What do you mean it's our day?"

Maxie "You showed up at my doorstep in Port Charles two years ago today."

Nathan "I did? So I've known you for two years?"

Maxie "Not the whole two years..."

The doctor walks in "Sir can you tell me your name?"

Nathan "She keeps calling me Nathan."

Doctor "Okay Nathan can you tell me what day it is?"

Nathan "I don't know."

Doctor "Can you tell me where you are?"

Nathan "I'm guessing a hospital. I don't know what state or city."

Doctor "You're in a Portland hospital Nathan. Your girlfriend has been by your side this whole time."

Nathan "She really is my girlfriend? I don't remember anything."

Maxie got so scared that she ran to the waiting room to call Lulu.

Lulu answered "Hey Maxie what do you need?"

Maxie "Lulu it's bad. It's really really bad. It's like end of the world bad. He woke up."

Lulu "Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?"

Maxie "It would be if he didn't seem to have amnesia. He doesn't even know his own name."

Lulu "Oh my god Maxie I'm so sorry. I know what that's like though after Stavros kidnapped me and froze me in cryostasis."

Maxie "Yeah I know. That was a tough time. I can't even tell him about the baby. He doesn't remember me. The only good thing is he still thinks I'm beautiful."

Lulu "Well that's not so bad."

Maxie "Today is our day. He's awake but doesn't remember me. It's our day."

Lulu "I'm sorry. Your mom is here letting Georgie and Rocco have a play date should I put her on the phone?"

Maxie "Yes I could use my mom right now."

Lulu handed the phone to Felicia "Hi sweetheart. What's wrong?"

Maxie "Nathan woke up, but he doesn't remember me our baby or his own name."

Felicia "Did you say baby?"

Maxie "Yes I'm carrying Nathan's child."

Felicia "Congratulations on the baby but I'm sorry Nathan is suffering from amnesia. I know today is your anniversary."

Maxie "Yes it's supposed to be a happy day. I need Georgie here."

Felicia "I'll catch the first flight I can."

Maxie "Thank you mom. Kiss her for me."

Felicia "I will sweetie."

Two hours later~

Maxie waited for her mother and Georgie to arrive at the hospital.

A small voice spoke "Mama. Mama."

Maxie turned to see Felicia and Georgie.

Felicia put Georgie in Maxie's arms and she wrapped her arms tightly around her little girl "I love you sweetie. Nathan is awake."

Georgie "Nay Tuh."

Maxie "Let's go say hi. He doesn't remember you though."

Georgie "Nay Tuh no baby?"

Maxie "Mommy's sad. He doesn't remember me."

Georgie saw Nathan and called out "Nay Tuh!"
