Wonder Nerds vs Naxie (1/3)

Untitled Part 31

Nathan "Yes?"

Voice "I know where Maxie is."

Nathan "Nikolas?  How do you know where she is?"

Nikolas "I have my grandmother here who told me everything.  I didn't realize she was aiding Victor or Valentin or Jerry."

Nathan "Where are they?  My girls need their mother.  They have spent five months without names."

Nikolas "They are on Cassadine Island in Greece."

Nathan "I will get there right away.  Dante is coming too."

Nikolas "Apparently they had other plans for Lulu.  Dante will have to look elsewhere for his wife.  My sister is not on Cassadine island."

Nathan "Where is she?"

Nikolas "Helena didn't tell me that information.  Only Maxie."

Nathan "Dante needs to know where his wife is.  Rocco misses her so much."

Nikolas "If I knew her location I'd be there myself to rescue her.  I can only assume Stavros is alive."

Nathan "The guy who tried to impregnate Lulu more than once?"

Nikolas "That's the one.  Unfortunately I have no clue as to his whereabouts."

Nathan hops a plane to Greece without telling anyone and when he lands he is greeted by a man he has seen before.

Valentin "I assume you know by now I am your father.  Your pain in my side mother is dead I hope?"

Nathan "I'm afraid you didn't succeed in killing her like you did with my aunt Madeline."

Valentin "I know your girlfriend is here but I can't let you just take her."

He grabbed a foil and tossed it to Nathan "If you can defeat me I will let you take your precious Maxie and leave."

Nathan "Do you really expect me to fight you?"

Valentin "Yes because if you don't I will kill her in front of you.  Then I will not hesitate to leave your children without parents."

Nathan "You'd kill us both because we figured out you're my father?"

Valentin "Who can say what causes a mind of a person to do anything?  Fight me and win and the girl is yours.  Fight me and lose and your children grow up without parents."

Nathan grabs the foil getting in the proper stance to fight his father and he just weaved and bobbed the jabs coming from Valentin.

Valentin was quite trained at this art of fencing so he was able to maneuver well from Nathan's moves.

For what seemed like hours they jabbed at each other missing the other completely.

Finally Nathan got a jab right into Valentin's neck.

Nathan "I believe I will be taking Maxie and leaving now."

Valentin stood there in shock realizing his son had bested him in a sport he was so well trained in.

Nathan went looking through every room until he found Maxie.

He checked her pulse which was weak and gave her mouth to mouth.

Suddenly he heard coughing as Maxie spoke "Nathan?  You found me.  Where are the babies?"

Nathan "They're at home with your mother and Uncle Mac.  They have gone five months without names."

Maxie "Oh my god they need names.  I was so worried I'd never see you again I didn't even think about names."

Nathan "You're safe now.  I've got you.  I'm never letting you go.  I love you!  This last five months have been a living nightmarish hell for me.  I can't go another day without being a family with you."

Maxie "We are a family.  We have the girls and Georgie."

Nathan "Maxie.  I know that but that's not what I meant."

Maxie "Can we please get out of here and then you can tell me?"

Nathan "I have to say it here.  I can't wait another moment.  Mariah Maximiliana Jones will you please marry me?"

Maxie "Yes but can we leave now?"

Nathan scooped her up and ran like hell to get off Cassadine island.
