Morning arrived.
Yandi was not the type to stay in bed too long, but this day was different.

She slowly opened her eyes and was faced with a view of the balcony and the shore in the distance. The calming noises from outside was music to her ears.

"Oh, you're awake," she turned her head to where the voice was coming from. It was Omari, walking out the bathroom in nothing but shorts.

Oh goodness... she thought to herself.

"What time is it?" She propped herself up from the bed, still registering her surroundings.
"Ten a.m,"
"I think I'll just sleep this day out," she admitted.
"Aww, poor baby," Omari joked, walking up to the bed and sitting from across her.
"Last night wore you out, huh?" He ran a hand on her cheek, tracing it down to her chin.
"Boy," she smiled sheepishly, shoving his hand away.
"Here, wear this," he reached for a tshirt of his and handed it to her.
"I feel like I got rammed into by a truck," she chuckled, pulling the shirt through her head.
"I'll take that as a compliment," he smirked, "Except that was not a truck."

"Huh?"
"It was my tongue," he laughed.
"What?" She looked at him confused.
"It's nothing. You want something to eat?" He asked.

Just then, Yandi's phone began to ring. She ran a hand through her hair as she swiped to answer.
"Girl- oh, you just woke up?"
"Mmh," Yandi smiled at the screen, glancing over at Omari finding a shirt to wear.
"You had a spicy night,hm?"
"Laurie, calm down," she giggled.

Omari chuckled, how was Yandi talking to his sister and still didn't remember him? He wasn't complaining though, she'd find out eventually, he thought to himself.

"Girl, you just look like you had a night, okay? Which is good, you deserve good things and good things include some good D,"
"Wow! How's home?" Yandi asked, trying to change topic.
"It's alright, but I'm sure its not as good as Ghana. So tell me, who's got you waking up this late and your hair all wild?"

She looked up and caught Omari's stare. He licked his lips and crossed his arms over his chest, also curious as to what her response would be.

"Yandile Tembo, is he in the room with you?!" Laurie shouted through the phone.
"Maybe?" She giggled, Laurie squealing on her end.
"Well sorry for disturbing your moment girl you should have said so from the jump!"

"No problemo," Yandi rolled her eyes.
"I'll call you later alright? I have to take the kids out for field day, then to my mother in-law so that I have some time with Amir," Laurie purred.

Omari rolled his eyes, getting pants to wear for the day.

"I hear you girl. Catch up later...bye,"  she waved before putting her phone away.

"So..."
"Don't!" Yandi put her hand up, stopping him.
"Ay, I'm not going to talk about the call," he chuckled walking to the edge of the bed and pulling her closer.
"I just want to know... if baby girl needs anything to eat so I grab a bite downstairs," he cooed, leaning in to kiss her.
"A sandwich with a side of Mari would be nice," she cupped his face in her tiny hands.

"Girl, you'll make me stay here and neither of us are going to eat," he chuckled.
"Fine. Although I have to pass by my room. I have alot there that I'd need to be more comfortable here," she explained.
"We're already cohabiting, nice," he joked.
"Shut up!" She playfully fisted his chest before kissing him again.
"Let me go. I also need to pass by the boys, they're probably wondering what I've been up to,"

"Alright," she agreed.

-

"He reappears!"
"Wassup, mama? Missed me?" Omari teased, since they were always supposedly worried sick about his whereabouts.
