"Ouu, babeeyy!! Gotta get you home with me tonight!!"

The three ladies sang loudly in the backyard, bare feet and all, just enjoying their late Friday afternoon at Bisa's place.

They laughed at how passionate they were singing oldies, it held so many university memories for them and it felt like they were reliving them.

"Up next! Po Po Po Po!" Bisa announced.
"Since when do you talk like that?" Laurie scrunched her face, and chortled.
"Since I wanted to turn back the hands of time," Bisa sassed back, scrolling through her playlist in her phone to keep the momentum going.
"I could just put my feet in this water," Yandi said, crouching down near the pool. "Old age creeping up on ya girl, ankles hot and aching."
"Are you seriously calling your thirties old age? Be forreal now," Bisa remarked.
"Girl just get your ass here the water is good!" Laurie yelled.

They sat there and continued singing and conversing until they heard the door behind them slide open.

"Look who's here! Hey Sean!" Bisa beamed, struggling to her feet to hug him.

Yandi's eyes squinted slightly , catching Sean's gaze.

"I see you brought company," he turned to Laurie and Yandi.
"Hey Laurie, long time no see," he waved.
"Oh hey! You have been MIA! Can't tell you and Omari apart now,"
"You've got jokes huh?" He chuckled lightly, averting his eyes to Yandi.
"Hey," he smiled. She waved back and returned the smile.
"Hey, Sean."
"You remember Yandi, right?" Bisa said to Sean.
"Yeah, seen her around but I guess I forgot you had friends this gorgeous,"

Laurie smirked, turning to Yandi.

"Anyway ladies, welcome to my abode. Feel free, I have friends coming over so y'all enjoy yourselves," he clasped his hands together.
"Y'all can chill indoors. Don't want your homeboys making noise for us unless you're bringing some food," Bisa said with a stank face.
"Yeah, especially with Omari," Laurie added.

Sean chuckled, glancing over at Yandi as Bisa and Laurie continued ranting.
"I'll be inside. But we will be out here later on," he said with a quick wink, walking back indoors.

"Sean has grown," Laurie gasped, turning to Bisa.
"Right? Feels like only yesterday when he was in uni, being a panty dropper," Bisa sighed. "Girl, he was checking you out."
"Well I'm married. He should know that by now since he's friends with Omari. Plus younger men are definitely a no-no from me," Laurie curled her lips.
"I honestly wouldn't mind. Its the younger men that have drive," Bisa said sticking her tongue out. "I remember before I met Zee there was this one young man- a hot shot at Welvis that swept me off my feet. It was a one-night-stand thing at some New Year's party but listen, he took me on a wild ride! If I could I'd do it again, tuh," Bisa expressed, sipping on her drink.

"Are you forreal?" Laurie squinted. "As in you would do it again? With a younger man? Forreal?"
"Yes, bitch! Listen don't get me wrong, I love Zee I really do. Sis, he's only older than me by a year! It would make no difference had he been younger in my opinion. I actually taught him a few things from the dude at Welvis..."
"Oh my days!" Yandi burst into laughter.

"Well... for the record- that was a holiday, so its allowed," Laurie thought out loud.
"Nah babes, it was just luck. If I met a man here in Hoover Hillside and he's younger than me I wouldn't be phased. If he's good looking, career driven... sex driven..." Bisa smirked.
"Your drive is mad, but go on," Yandi giggled.
"Babes, you subscribe to this?" Laurie said with shock, turning to Yandi.
"I mean... I don't oppose," Yandi shrugged slowly.

She really felt conflicted expressing her stance, for obvious reasons. And she did know that while Laurie had an open mind about relationships, she also had reservations about other aspects of it.
