"What the hell bro, where have you been?!"
"We were about to start a search hunt on your ass,"
"I told y'all he wasn't lost. Nigga went to find himself some coochie,"

"Are y'all done?" Omari finally asked.
"Not until you tell us whe-" Malik raised his voice before Luca cut him off.
"You know damn well he ain't telling us that," he laughed.

"Where did Accra take your lousy asses that you'd be back here by my room at this hour?" Omari chortled, finding clothes to change in.

"Bruh, we nearly called Laurie," Zion stated.
"And what did you want her to do?" He mocked, pulling a pair of white air forces to smatch with his clothes.

"Now I know you're not dressing up to head out again nigga," Malik walked up to Omari.
"He's getting an oil change," Sean chuckled. "Shid, I probably should do the same.
Listen, y'all can sit here all you want, talk about the missing person that finally showed up. I, am going out to have me a good time."

They all stopped to watch Sean stand from his seat and walk out the room.

"Aren't you going to follow his ass?" Omari pointed to the remaining three.

-
Nearly thirty minutes had passed and Yandi was still getting ready. She had her hair in rollers while moisturizing her body. It took a while to get here, she just knew she had to speed dress once her rollers were out.

"Why am I even doing this?" She said to herself.

He was just a guy she met and already she's trying to dress to over impress.
She stopped everything and turned to the mirror.

"Yandi, relax. We're just going to go out, have a good time, go crazy and leave everything behind, head back home like nothing happened," she took a few breaths, gently pulled the rollers out of her hair and styled her hair into a simple, not too complicated hairstyle.

Her outfit of choice was a pair of denim shorts, a white crotchet top and a pair of white sneakers. After much contemplation, she pulled out a pair of scissors, cut out a strip of the cloth Mari bought for her and used it as a headband for her hair, forming a bow at the top.
She felt really pretty, quickly grabbing her clutch purse, blowing a kiss at her reflection and heading down to the lobby.

She found him waiting for her, clad in a loose cream button down shirt with embroidery details, blue denim shorts and white air forces. He had a few silver accessories to compliment the look, simple yet classy.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting," she sashayed towards him.
"You hypocrite," he joked, "Time management where?"
"Boy bye," she rolled her eyes at him.
"Come here," he cooed, wrapping an arm over her shoulders to hug her while her hands circled his waist. He was quite tall, which made their hug cordial and not invasive.

"You smell nice," he complimented, "and is this the kente cloth in your hair? Oh, Ya!" He stood back and placed his hands on his chest, performance as usual.
"Mari, behave," she playfully shoved him.
"Baby girl, this is behaved, you're not ready for my misbehaving ass. I'm unruly," he smirked.
"Right," she squinted, her expression unfazed.

"Come, we go misbehave a little. My boys talked about a spot we could check out. Its kinda like Kojo but its not,"

They caught a cab and headed to a restaurant near the beach which wasn't like the one Omari had visited prior. They arrived and it was chill, palm trees, afro music playing and an emcee that was keeping everyone in their groove.

Omari took Yandi by the hand and guided her til they found a seat, helping her get settled before doing so himself.

"Mari?" she leaned forward.
"Wassup?" he too moved closer.
"Is this a date? Are you taking me on a date?" She was on the brink of laughter.
He smiled, then looked away as though in deep thought before facing her again.
"Maybe,"
"Oh my gosh," she fell back laughing, " I did not consent to this!"
"Yes the hell you did," he stated.

The sun had set completely and stars filled the sky. The restaurant was illuminated with strings of lights that made the place look tropical and simply a vibe.

Yandi and Omari initially sat on opposite sides as they shared drinks, until Omari suggested they sit next to each other to view the people dancing and judge them better like it was some contest.

"We should probably join them?" Omari said crossing his arms. "Let's go," he stood up and Yandi gave a shocked expression.
"What now?"
"Ya, come on now," she grunted before standing and following behind him.

They got to the centre of the floor as Said by Runtown and NastyC began to play. The crowd was feeling the song and so did Omari and Yandi.
She knew she couldn't dance like a pro, but she was definitely an afro beat head. From swaying to the rhythm of the song to hand signals to the beats, she was very expressive. Omari was in awe, she literally rapped along to NastyC's verse effortlessly, he was impressed.

The emcee kept hyping the crowd as the song switched to Painkiller by Sarkodie and Runtown.

"You really feeling this huh?" Omari grinned, noticing how Yandi was really in her zone.
"These are timeless songs, babyy!" She shouted over the music, raising her hands and wining her waist while making a full turn as the chorus came in.

"Girl I wanna take you personal,
Fight for your matter like a wrestler,
There for your body like painkiller..."

"Move with me!" She took his hand, bringing him closer and having him follow her dance moves.
He truly was having a good time with her.
Songs came and went, they were having so much fun they even lost track of time.
It was close to midnight when they returned to the hotel and Yandi was trying not to be loud, she was definitely tipsy.

Omari followed her into the elevator as they laughed over a joke he made, she was really just laughing at everything at that point.

"How are you still sober though?" She scowled.
"I have some tolerance to this shit, baby girl," he smirked, leaning on the elevator rail as the door closed.
"Well, baby boy, maybe its a good thing I'm not as sober," she moved closer to him, wrapping her arms round his neck.
"Ya..." his voice deepened.
"I had fun," she said as her hands rubbed the nape of his neck.
"I had fun too," the elevator bell pinged just as he was about to wrap his hands round her waist.

Damnit, he thought to himself.

"Follow me," she took his hand and they made their exit.
"Ya, no. Let's go to my room instead," he insisted. He knew he didn't want to be in her personal space, especially in the state she was in. Sure, she'd argue that she knew what she was doing, but he knew it would be a blur.

Yandi kept giggling and smiling the whole way, he found it amusing. They finally reached Omari's room, and as soon as he closed the door behind them, Yandi pulled him to her lips by the collar.

Omari didn't hesitate, lifting her from the ground and sitting her on the dresser. They continued at this, Yandi running her hands over his chest.

She unbuttoned the embroidered fabric, their lips still locked in a kiss. Yes, she knew she was tipsy, but her damn hormones knew better. She didn't know how far she'd take- whatever this was, but that was at the far back of her mind.
He had such a good upper body. Like a mix of a dad bod yet very much fit 'I go to the gym consistently' build.

She inched closer to him, and he moved from her lips to her jawline, leaving a trail of kisses down her neck to her collarbone.

"Mar..." she said breathlessly, then began giggling.
"Ya," he pulled away, licking his thick lips.
"It tickles," she pouted.
"Bruh, you sure are something," he chuckled, staring down at her. His hand moved to her waist, playing with the fabric of her shorts.
"Having ideas?" She looked up at him, and he smirked down at her. "Try me..."
