Before the group knew it another week had flown by and the human's had stopped by the cave every day of it. There were only two more weeks to go until their parents were due to return, and they couldn't hide their excitement, although Vialo couldn't deny that she was a little sad. Because if her parents really did find their clan, then that would mean that they would have to leave. Leave their home and their new friends. Vialo had locked herself away in her room the whole day re-reading the pages covered in English. She wanted to speak to them as if she was human. As she was finally about to make her way down, knowing that Chris would be arriving soon she heard her family's laughter echoing beneath her.
"Are the alien's coming today?" Tsovey questioned running into the kitchen area.
"I believe so." Sakire replied with a smile.
"They will be here soon and don't call them aliens. They have names." Vialo shouted from her room.
"Why don't you just come down?" Tatal replied in kind. "You've been up there all day!" She added.
"I was just practicing my english." Vialo exclaimed as she climbed down the tree trunk. "I want to make sure I understand better. You guys should be practicing too." Vialo continued walking over to the food Solko was cooking. "When will the food be done? I'm starving." Vialo groaned.
"Why didn't you just come down here and make something if you were hungry?" Solko questioned.
"Because I didn't want to cook and I knew you would eventually." Vialo replied with a cheeky smirk. Solko just rolled her eyes in response.
"What are we going to do when they get here?" Tsovey asked as her brow scrunched together.
"I'm not sure...probably just talk. They know enough of our language to communicate, and Vialo has been teaching us some English so we can practice with them." Tatal exclaimed with a smile.
"Just talk? That's what you guys always do!" Tsovey whined. "It's boring." She added.
"Well then what would you want to do?" Henilo chuckled.
"Play! Talking is boring." Tsovey pouted.
"Awe she's pouting! It's so cute!" Vialo teased.
"I'm not pouting!" Tsovey shouted running towards her older sister, but Vialo was too quick. "Not fair! Your legs are longer than mine!" Tsovey barked.
"You're fast! You could catch me if you wanted to." Vialo taunted.
"Don't test me Vialo." Tsovey threatened. Her family looked at her in shock for a moment. "What? Did I say something wrong?" Tsovey exclaimed nervously.
"No, you've just never threatened anyone before." Vialo replied with a smirk. "I like it! She's turning into me!" Vialo proclaimed happily.
"That's not a good thing." Henilo teased.
"Shut up." Vialo barked. "Don't ruin my moment." Vialo warned.
"I really am turning into her aren't I?" Tsovey chuckled.
"Yes you are! I am very proud." Vialo stated, picking Tsovey up. "Being firm makes you stronger! Just look at Tatal! She's one of the strongest women we know! If you want to be like her! You start by being firm." Vialo praised.
"You two are too much!" Tatal laughed. "Come on, let's eat lunch while we wait for your human friends." Tatal exclaimed, watching her family make their way inside. She couldn't help but smile.
