"Listen Tony, Im not asking all that much. I just want her to have a good education and live comfortably, okay? I cant do that for her, im a maid at a Hotel, stark, i just," she sighed. "I just want my daughter to grow up in a decent house, with a good education, and have nice things. I don't want to get back together, I just need you to-"

"To pay for everything?" Pepper interjected.

"Not your business is it?" Angelina replied, and with a slight smirk added "you're the assistant aren't you? Can you get me a coffee?"

"Make that two." Tony said his first words of the day, finally.

After finding out yesterday that he was going to be a father in three months, he hadn't spoken to anyone - except for the slight outburst at his ex girlfriend upon getting the news - and no one could tell whether he was happy or not.

Pepper thought he wanted them both - his baby and her mother - dead and gone. Rhodey was already preparing to be a godfather, and Happy was pleased for his friend but slightly dreading another stark he'd have to look after.

Tony was.. neutral. Having a kid? great! Amazing! Being a parent? Being a role model? Raising a child? That's the hard part. That's the part he couldn't handle. If he, himself, can't grow up, how is he supposed to help another human being with that?

So he had a couple barriers to overcome before he was a parent but that was only three months away.. 'whatever, kids never remember the first couple years of their life' he thought to himself.

"Ok. Fine. I'll do it. I'll have.. some custody." He said and Angelina sighed.

"Thank you, Tony."

"What were you thinking so far? Raising her, I mean, what are your plans?"

"I was planning on buying a house, back home, near my folks-"

"England? You're moving to England?"

"I want her to have a relationship with her grandparents." She replied, and continued explaining. "I haven't thought much about her education, thought I'd leave it up to you, hopefully she inherits your intelligence, Tony."

"Yeah, maybe she'll find the cure to cancer." He laughed.

"Well, I was thinking, you could see her for maybe a week every month or so, not including her birthday and Christmas."

"That.. actually doesn't sound too unreasonable. Sure, where do I sign?"

Angelina laughed. "it's not a contract, Tony, it's split parenting. She's due on the 21st of June. If you'd like to be present fly in on the 19th, doctor said she might come early." She said, putting on her coat, just as pepper came back with the two coffees.

She took one and walked to the lift, saying goodbye to Happy on her way out.
