After a long, hard day of shopping, Maddy spent the car ride back to the tower spam calling Peter, telling him to come to the tower.
She wanted to give him a haul of all the stuff she'd bought, considering she still had no other friends her age in New York yet.
"Hey, it's me!" He gasped, pointing to the children's Spider-Man T-shirt Maddy was holding up. "Isn't that going to be too small for you?"
"No, it'll fit. I also got you hello kitty T-shirt, so we could match."
"But you're not hello kitty?"
"I'm literally her! Shut up, Peter." She groaned, chucking the shirt at him.
"This is like 4XL?"
"Yeah, it's called oversized. Put it on, I'll change in the bathroom."
Madeline was partially right, the shirt fit, but barely. It looked like a baby tee though, which was the vibe she was going for.
"How are people going to know we're matching?"
"It's so obvious, like look at me." Maddy said, and sure enough, it was obvious.
She had hello kitty studs in her second ear piercing, right next to her big silver hoops, a necklace with a hello kitty pendant, HK rings, socks, and charm bracelets on each wrist.
"Fair enough." He nodded.
"Let's get food. You want a burger?"
"Yes. Are you okay? Bruce said you weren't feeling too good earlier." Peter asked, slightly nervous that her answer would include hard drugs.
"I was feeling like shit, but then I had like.. a few ibuprofen, and Diet Coke, and me and Happy got mojitos at lunch, and then they were serving champagne at this really fancy shop we were in."
"So you're drunk?"
"A tiny bit tipsy, I can still drive."
"You're what?!" Tony almost yelled, standing up from the couch.
"How long have you been there?" Maddy asked.
"Like five minutes, i was waiting for Sam." He asked, his tone equally as sassy as his daughters. "Wait, why are you matching? Are you dating?"
"Ew, he's like, three years younger than me."
"Actually, I'm a month older than you."
"Aww, you've got a baby face!" She squealed, squeezing his face, and ignoring his mumbling about 'that hurts, you're acting like May' "We're gonna get burgers, I need a car."
"Have fun sweetie." Tony replied, looking down at his phone, intentionally ignoring the last part of Madeline's sentence.
"Did you hear me? I need a car."
"Is that how you ask?"
Maddy rolled her eyes and sighed. "Tony, may I please borrow one of your many cars that you never use?"
"Yeah, pick any, the keys are all in the glove boxes."
"Thanks Mr Stark!" Peter called as Maddy dragged him into to the elevator.
"Where are you two going?" Pepper asked, watching the two get into Tony's most expensive car, after spending ten minutes looking up which one costs the most.
"Food." They answered at the same time.
"Did your father let you take this car?"
"Yep, you want anything?" Maddy asked, already messing with the seat settings.
"Can you take Morgan? I left her in the care of Yelena and Thor, and now I'm starting to regret it."
"... and you want to leave her in the care of me and Peter..?"
"Okay, so all four of you look after her, I don't know! I have meetings for the next two hours, and your fathers trying to prevent another sokovia accords being drawn up-"
"We'll go, get our food and get something for Morgan and take her to play with Alpine and Bubbles." Peter suggested.
"Okay.. Peter, will you make sure Maddy doesn't do anything irresponsible in front of Morgan? Like vaping." Pepper said with an accusatory tone. "Yeah, JARVIS told me."
"Fucking snitch." Maddy mumbled. "You don't need to worry, we'll play uno with her, give her a vodka redbull, teach her a couple swear words, and then send her to school tomorrow with a knife in her bag- or gun, that's more American, innit?"
Pepper simply stared at her with a raised brow and unamused look. "I'm serious."
"And I'm not, she'll play with the cats and eat fast food, maybe even watch some cartoons. That was my entire childhood and I turned out perfectly fine."
Before any more words could be exchanged, Madeline sped off out the garage, and into the streets of New York.
