"Daddy's home." Tony said, as Angelina opened the door of her parents house. "Where did the baby bump go? Angelina?"
"You're a week late. I had her on Friday."
"It's the 16th? I'm a week early."
"Not according to Mads, you're not."
"Mads?"
"Madeline. Mads, Maddy, she has nicknames already."
"Madeline."
"Beautiful name for a beautiful baby."
Angelina picked up Maddy from her cot and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"She is. Can I hold her?"
"Of course." She handed her to him. "I'll leave you alone for now."
"Okay." He watched as she walked out of the living room and into the kitchen, closing the door behind her.
