Madeline dragged herself out of bed only half an hour later, stumbling into the shower and then getting ready for what was left of the day.
She sat down on the floor, still no furniture so all she had was a pocket mirror, and used that for doing her makeup.
By the time she was done she decided that maybe it was finally time to replace all her basically empty makeup products, and a smirk grew on her face as she realised she now had her father's credit card.
After chucking out all the near empty products, she pulled on her favourite low rise flare jeans and a black fitted off shoulder top, with matching uggs and her oversized silver hoops.
She already had her favourite necklace on (that she never took off) and searched the floor for her rings.
An hour had passed since she was woken up by Tony and Pepper, and after confirmation from FRIDAY that her father was still waiting outside, she decided to go over her hair with a straightener.
She'd waited long enough for him to step up and be a father, he can wait an extra ten minutes for her to get ready.
During her time isolating herself from the rest of the world, she'd got a bit bored and asked FRIDAY for some information on the team, specifically Peter Parker.
She found out that he was not only Spider-Man, but also a smart kid, with perfect grades, who was sweet. And Tony absolutely adored him and viewed him as a son.
Smart. Good in school. Friendly to pretty much everyone.
Three defining qualities that Madeline.. struggled with.
She tried to be friendly majority of the time, and she for the most part - but couldn't help not trusting the avengers.
And she was smart. Very smart. But didn't do too well in school. Exams had never been her strong suit.
He was studying science or something, and wanted to go university, and had a pretty clear idea of what he wanted his future to be.
Madeline kind of just went one day at a time. She didn't think about the future too much.
After a lot of overthinking, and accident frying off a chunk of her hair, Maddy finally decided to leave the comfort of her bedroom.
She stepped out, expecting to see her father, only to see Happy getting out of the elevator.
"Where's Tony?"
"He got called in for a mission. Sorry kid-"
"It's fine." She smirked, holding up his card. "He's here in spirit.. basically."
Happy shook his head and chuckled. "Where to first?"
