Whilst waiting for Natasha to come to her floor, Madeline decided to try out sitting in her newly furnished living room.
But the couch was too comfy and she very quickly fell asleep.
She woke up to Natasha staring at the ceiling, while it sounded like there was something moving around in the vents.
"What are you doing?" She groaned, pulling the blanket off of her, and then realising that she didn't have one on when she fell asleep. "Did you put this on me?"
"Yeah, your thermostat doesn't work and you looked cold." Natasha replied, and then gave Madeline a glare when she noticed the smirk on her face. "Shut up, and come help me find where the vents open up in here."
"Why?" She asked, standing up and making her way over.
"Clint. He's in there somewhere, and I wanna scare him out."
Eventually, the two got tired of standing around, tapping the ceiling with a broom, and playing mouse sound effects to try scare Clint, and finally gave up.
"So, my dad sent you to hang out with me."
"Yeah, wonder why he didn't send Bucky or Bruce."She scoffed, glancing at Madeline with a smirk.
"Oh, it's all just to piss him off. It's hilarious how he gets when he sees me flirt. I think I could actually see steam coming out of his ears when I put my hand on Banner's arm." She laughed.
"Now that's something I'd like to see. Make sure I'm present next time you do that."
"Wanna see it right now?" Madeline asked, a similar smirk forming on her face.
"What?"
"FRIDAY, send my father up, please."
"There's no one else around, Madeline." Natasha said, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm aware. How do you feel about me being very very close to you?"
"What are you planning?"
"You didn't answer my question." Maddy laughed, shuffling closer.
"I'm okay with it. What are you-"
Maddy looked up to see that the elevator was almost at her floor, and in the blink of an eye, Maddy was on Natasha's lap.
"Madeline." Natasha warned, trying to be firm, but couldn't help mirroring the mischievous grin on Maddy's face.
She put her arms around Natasha's shoulders, and before anything else could happen, the elevator dinged and Tony stepped out.
"Really?!" He yelled, and the two women shared a look, both of them hiding smiles and holding in a laugh.
"I was just saying, Natasha's makeup is.. so smooth, I mean that foundation! I needed a closer look." She said, giggling between every word.
"You were right about the smoke, but you didn't mention the shade of red he'd turn." Nat muttered, loud enough for Maddy to hear, but low enough for Tony to not notice she had said anything.
"You know what, from now on, you're not allowed within three feet of anyone. Anyone! At all! No human contact for you, Madeline Alexandria Stark!" Tony yelled, storming out.
"Middle name, wow." Natasha sighed with a laugh, as Maddy moved back into her own seat.
"Yeah, he's mad. He'll talk to Pepper about this now, and then she'll tell him he's overreacting, and then it'll be back to normal."
"Good."
