Request by starrr238-Can you do an imagine where the baby says "dada" as her first word and Peter gets all excited and runs around the apartment. I think it would also be really cute to do one where she takes her first steps.

First Words:

Peter looked at the calendar on the fridge in his kitchen. It was August the tenth. So, it was his birthday. "If I can get it in by-okay. No, I understand." Peter turned his head towards the sound of the voice. It was his wife just getting off the phone with her boss. "Happy Birthday babe," she gave him a kiss and went to make herself a cup of coffee. "Can you watch the baby today though? I gotta go to work." She turned to him expectantly. Peter sighed and nodded reluctantly. "Great, thanks! She's still asleep! Love you!" Peter watched as she headed out the door.

He walked to their room where the baby crib was and stared down at the wide awake brunette. "So you aren't sleep huh? Well come on. Some one's gotta keep dada company on his birthday." He picked her up as she babbled happily.

After he fed her breakfast he gave her a bath then just resorted laying on his belly to watch her play with her Linkables and blocks on the living room floor. She tried to hand Peter one of them and giggled when she dropped it. "Silly baby." Peter said picking it up and handed it to her. She shook her head. "Da." She babbled handing it back to him. Peter's eyes widened as he sat up on his knees in anticipation.

"Come on!" He encouraged. "Come on. Who am I?" Peter asked in a baby voice pointing to himself. She giggled thinking it was a game. "Come on! Who am I?" Peter encouraged her some more.

"Da!" She exclaimed putting a block in her mouth. Thankfully they were well sanitized.

"Yes, yes!"

"Da! Da! Dada!" She happily said. Peter jumped off of his knees and jumped up into the air.

"YES!" Peter exclaimed running around the apartment in pure excitement. "MY BABY JUST SAID HER FIRST WORD!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

"GREAT! Now keep it down! I'm trying to sleep!" The neighbor under them demanded. Peter stopped running and whispered an apology. Then he squealed in excitement while he grabbed his phone. He called his wife while grinning uncontrollably at his daughter. "Hey, babe. What's up? I've decided to become a stay at home-" She answered.

"She said her first word!" Peter cut her off.

"Wait what? When?" Peter bent down to the baby's level and put the phone on speaker.

"Here's mama! Can you say my name?" The baby looked at him then held her arms up to be picked up.

"Dada!" She squealed.

"Wait! I'm coming home right now!"

"Dada! DADA!" Peter winced as she shrieked. She'd now discovered that she could talk and really had a voice.

"Okay, okay. I get it. Don't scream it though." He picked her up and kissed her head.

First Steps:

Peter was walking through his front door after a long day of work. And a secret Spider-Man patrol. By secret he got off his 'real' job at 3 then decided to go on patrol without telling anyone, including Ned, until 7. So there he was, flopping himself down on the couch in exhaustion. "Hey babe!" His wife greeted cheerfully.

"Hey." Was all Peter could muster.

"Guess what?" She asked as she sat down beside him. "The baby learned something new."

"That's great. I'm tired G'night." Peter patted her leg and stood up from the couch. She got up to follow him.

"Don't you care what she did?"

"If she did it. Then I'm sure it must be amazing." Peter stopped at the bathroom door and gave her a weak smile.

"Dada!" Peter turned, expecting to see her crawling towards him. Instead he saw her toddling carefully in his direction with her little tongue sticking out the side of her mouth.

Peter gasped and bent down to her level immediately. "C'mere baby!" He encouraged holding out his hands to her. She slowly made her way over to him and fell into his arms. "Oh my goodness you can walk!" He lifted her up and watched her giggle happily. "Hi dada!" She exclaimed.

"Hey! Good job!" Peter put her down and took several steps back. "Come on!" The baby sat down on the ground then assumed crawling position. "Aww! Nooo! Come walk to me." Peter whined.

"No." She protested, crawling towards him.

"Oh well, it's a start I guess."

A/N: This one has a really crappy ending I know. But I hope you enjoy it despite that fact! I really like these requests! And if the readers who read these have any requests for any character. Please feel free to let me know! I enjoy writing them!
