"Kurt! Will! Anybody!" Ziggy screamed as she and Ella raced toward the camp exit, desperation lacing her voice.

Ella glanced back just in time to see the bus pulling away from the campgrounds, the bright headlights cutting through the darkened trees. Panic gripped her heart; there was no way they could catch it now.

Just as the bus disappeared into the night, Tommy emerged from the woods, his silhouette menacing against the backdrop of the campfire's fading glow, heading straight for them.

Ella grabbed Ziggy's hand, her instincts screaming at her to run. "The Mess Hall!" She urged, darting toward the familiar structure, praying that Nick had somehow survived Tommy's wrath.

They burst through the doors of the Mess Hall, Ziggy slamming the door shut behind them with a heavy thud. As she fumbled with the lock, Ella felt a sense of dread wash over her. She knew all too well that a simple door wouldn't keep Tommy out, not after last time.

Frantic, Ella scanned the room, searching for a place to hide. Where could they go? They were cornered, and Tommy would find them.

Then, the crackle of a radio nearby pulled her attention. "Why did you turn this on?" Ella exclaimed as she rushed over to Ziggy, her heart racing. "It'll just lead him here!"

"Exactly." Ziggy replied, her grip tightening on Ella's shoulders. "I need you to hide in the kitchen while I take the pantry."

"What? No! I'm not leaving you behind." The thought alone was unbearable.

Ignoring Ella's protests, Ziggy sprinted toward the kitchen, knowing the pantry was tucked away inside. "Please, Ella. Just trust me. Do this for me."

Ella sighed, anxiety knotting her stomach, but she relented, making her way into the kitchen. She promised herself that if she heard Ziggy scream, she would come running, no matter what.

Huddled inside one of the cabinets, Ella held her breath as she heard Tommy burst through the door, the sound of wood splintering under his force echoing in her ears. She hoped whatever Ziggy was planning would work; otherwise, she didn't know how she could go on without her.
