You were in the final year of your seven year degree earning your English doctorate, and months away from graduation. You were also barely skating by.
You couldn't understand why Professor Broflovski incessantly gave you low marks. You had tried everything and found yourself rewriting your assignments over and over again before their due date. Nothing you wrote ever seemed good enough for him.
When the last of the students had shuffled out of the auditorium, you made your way to his desk.
Professor Broflovski was only intimidating in an academic sense. He was a lean redhead with soft eyes and thick curly hair. On his desk near the podium, he had a framed picture of his two sons, aged ten and twelve. Their mother had passed away in childbirth and he often would stare out with empty eyes. His motto was that life goes on and dwelling on the past only makes for a disappointing future. He was a good dad and a young one at that. He was thirty-five and a certified Dilf.
"Professor Broflovski, I need to know why you keep giving me low marks."
"I told you earlier this year when you asked, your tone is too passionate. I'm looking for a cut-and-dry response from an honest perspective."
"An honest perspective? How am I supposed to express my honest perspective if I can't write in my own style! Your syllabus never stated that explicitly."
He removed his glasses, sighing and setting them on his desk, "Then I apologize for the confusion, but it will not change what I'm asking for."
You can feel the frustration building, tears threatening your eyes. The anxiety you would face for the rest of the year over your assignments would never end and the worst part was that you were disappointing him. You couldn't deny you had an attraction to your professor but it dissipated quickly when he put you in your place with those abysmal marks.
You swiftly make your way to the door, angry footsteps echoing through the empty auditorium.
Kyle
Y/N was refreshingly feisty. In a room full of zombies, she was always eager to learn and improve, challenging his ideas. She reminded him a lot of his late wife but with her own unique charm. It had been ten years since he had last been interested in anyone. Sure, his fellow associates would set him up on blind dates, but they never fulfilled him. Not like Y/N does.
Everything he said was true. Her writing style was distracting, he could barely read her response without being caught up in her eloquent way with words. She was a great writer and never failed to impress him but he wanted to see what she was capable of outside of her bubble. His challenges weren't out of spite, but out of sincerity to help her grow.
He gathered his laptop and belongings on his desk and headed home with thoughts of Y/N swirling in his mind.
...
"He's such an asshole," Your roommate Red sprawled out on the couch, "I've read your work and I think it's fucking amazing."
You crash next to her, "Unfortunately it's his opinion that decides my fate."
"Why don't you work on some of that smut you write? It always seems to break up your writer's block," she nudges you with a suggestive smile, "It gets you in the mood too, you know it does!"
"You're so gross!"
...
Red was right, it was just what you needed. After you complete another erotic short story, your mind is clear to finish your essay. You check the clock, it was due by midnight which was only seconds away!
You scramble to pull up Kyle's email and attach your document quickly. Once sent, you lean back in your chair arms limp at your side.
That was a close one.
Kyle
Kyle always held his laptop closely, checking his watch around this time eagerly awaiting Y/N's email. It was the only one he looked forward to reading. She usually was the first to send hers in but she was a little late tonight, barely missing the due date.
His jaw dropped when he opened her untitled document. It was an erotic short story written by her. He could tell by the way she began her sentences.
I shouldn't read this. It's completely unprofessional.
But he was curious to know how her mind worked when she was turned on. It was as close as he would get to fucking her. He was too professional to ever intentionally go after any of his students, even though they were all in their twenties. But tonight his strong feelings for Y/N prevailed and he scrolled through the document.
He was glad she was such a descriptive writer. Every detail, every expression, and every sound between the characters was so vivid he could see it in his mind like a movie. His office was locked and the boys were asleep. He was completely isolated and still felt nervous about masturbating. His erection was pressing painfully against his pants and he needed to ease the tension.
With his mind immersed in the story, he pictured the two of them as the characters and began stroking himself, going faster and faster trying to muffle his whimpers before cumming all over his hand. He leaned back in the chair as a wave of relief washed over him and dragged the document over to his desktop to save for later use.
...
You were (your nervous habit) in anticipation of his email but none came. You text some other people you know from his course and it seemed that everyone but you had gotten a response. You pull up the email to double-check if it had gone through.
Your heart starts pounding and your stomach drops as you realize you had sent the wrong document. Your hands shake as you quickly send him another email telling him not to open it and to read this new attachment instead.
RE: 02/15 Assignment
Y/N,
In regards to your first email, It was the last I received so it has not yet been opened. I look forward to reading the original assignment but note that you will lose marks for turning it in after the due date.
Prof. Broflovski
