CHAPTER 40
SAHARA KIM
THE COMMOTION started as man in 30's appeared on the stage. He introduced himself as another son of Leonard Villaluz.
Am I shocked? Definitely, no. I already know that Leonard, Eun-ji's father, had his first son from his first lover. I knew it because it's my nature to know everything. Even about Sabrina who had a first son aside from Leighton to another man. The situation right here is really confusing and worse than everyone knows.
I also knew that that man's family owns big organization---the Join our Saint. That's the organization that I thoroughly investigated. I knew their plan because Heptas told me before she died. What happened now was the thing that I also expected to happen.
The fact that they already appeared to the people right now only means one thing: their plan had already been planted. I honestly felt bad about it. I had been keeping an eye to their organization since then yet I could not do something to stop them. They indeed have strong accomplices that are keeping them hidden from the shadows. I knew some, but not the bigger ones.
I looked at the stage where Leighton and my daughter, Eun-ji, faced that man named Blaze. Eun-ji and my eyes met and with that, I just nodded my head at her.
'Oh, my god, Sahara! Been a long time since you last called me.' Hena answered after how many rings on the phone.
Hena is the sister of Leonard. We've been close to each other before Leonard and I met. Actually, Hena was the one who introduced me to him.
'I heard that tomorrow would be the Villaluz Assembly,' I immediately said to her and she fell into silence. 'My daughter and I will come.'
'Are you sure?' she asked seriously. She knew our situation from the very beginning. She was the only one who knew that Leonard and I have a daughter... even Leonard did not know about this. 'Your lives may be put at risk,' she continued.
I sighed. 'Hena, with or without going to the assemble, our lives are already at risk. And besides, I have a feeling that something's going to happen.'
'What do you mean?'
I walked towards the balcony of my room. 'It's about that organization again,' I said to her. Yeah, she knows about it as well.
'Why? Are they planning to ruin the assembly?' she asked. I sensed that her voice started to stutter.
'Their headquarter is here in the Philippines, and knowing that the event would be also held here, made me realize that they must be planning something. I heard from my people that the organization's plan is almost done. And if their plan will succeed, they would surely appear in the event,' I said and she gasped.
'Oh, gosh. I remembered Blaze showed to me once. He did not harm me, but instead, he told me that he would kill all the Villaluzes when the right opportunity comes. I started to mentally curse my brother Leonard for being so handsome.' Then, she let out a deep sigh.
'Right. Your parents would not come here, right?' I asked her.
'Yes, only some of my relatives.'
'If something would really happen or not, I need you to double check your airplane. I will also send my people there to watch from afar if they will find shadows of Blaze arriving. On my signal, you and your colleagues must go to the plane and flee as fast as possible,' I instructed her and she agreed. She also said she would order some police to guard around.
