EVERYTHING HAPPENED was so sudden and all rush.

All Kage could ever imagine is that he was just standing there doing nothing where everyone considered him as nobody---someone who never get the attention of anyone.

But in a snap of a finger, he become the center of the spotlight where everyone credited him as the savior of the day. Though exaggerated, everyone called his action as the rise of human rights.

As for Lou Yin, he could not believe what he just witnessed with his two eyes. One minute, he was just there to the side enduring such strange pain and stood up where he suddenly acted paranoid. And now, everything made sense to him. Kage was not acting paranoid, he actually was studying the case.

He just realized, Kage saved his father from getting into jail. Bagre could not believe what just Kage did to him either. The young man whom he wished everyday not to see is the one who prevented him from going behind bars.

He couldn't say thank you enough. That's why, as a coin of his heartfelt gratitude, Bagre decided to take Kage to his home at Cortes Farm together with five sacks of pig feeds, and another five for rice.

That's the least he could do to him.

Everyone has gathered in the front of Cortes' house where the Han family joined them in the dinner. Nandoon sina Bagre, his wife, his snob daughter, and also his son, Lou Yin, who is bustling tonight in telling what happened back to the market in the Indian collector case while stuffing himself with grilled pork ribs. Aside from that, there are also two men, Marco and Augustus, who volunteered to grill the pork ribs.

In the middle of their smoky setup there is a long rectangle table with a lot of different foods on it such as boiled corn, rice, cassava cake, spicy noodles, and peach pie, including the pork ribs. Seeing those foods, Puferto and Teresa could not help but to be overwhelmed that they are fortunate enough to experience such celebration in the middle of their shortage.

"Kung hindi dahil sa kaniya, dad won't be here with us tonight. That is why, thank you very much for saving my dad back there. I really am," Lou Yin continues praising Kage. "Hindi ko man wari maisip kung paano mo nagawa ang lahat ng iyon, you really amazed us. You become an instant celebrity. You deserved it. And that detective, he also deserves to be put in shame. How dare him accused my dad. Kung hindi umeksena si Kage, baka nabali ko na mga leeg nila," he added while moving his nostrils to express how angry he was.

Bagre saw the arrogance in his son, kaya naman kumuha siya ng isang bilog na kalamansi sa tabi at saka niya ito itinapon direkta kay Lou Yin. Before he could cover his head, the calamansi fruit already landed on Lou Yin's forehead causing him to say, "Aww!"

"Ikaw, ngayon ka pa magsiga-sigaan kung kailan tapos na. Eh, kanina para kang tuta sa takot. Tumayo ka lang doon at hinayaan ang mga pulis na pusasan ako. Kulang nalang itulak mo ako papasok sa sasakyan nila. Tigil-tigilan mo ko diyan sa kayabangan mo!" Bagre scolded, that made Lou Yin pause for a moment.

"What am I supposed to do? Fight them to help you escape? Given the fact that they are armed men and you still wanted me to fight them? I told you before that to run but you did not listen to me. You did not take that seriously, you scolded me instead," Lou Yin talked back.
