"It was really nice hanging out with them actually?" I sighed talking to James on my phone. "They're like replacements." I smirked slightly as to tease James a tiny bit because I knew he wouldn't like me saying that.

"Woah okay I see how it is," James laughed slightly making my smile grow.

"Yeah you do," I fidgeted a bit more so I sat crossed legged on my bed looking over in my mirror, fixing my hair as I did.

"I'd like to think none of them replace me completely," he said bluntly a slight fear in his voice.

"What on earth are you implying?" I asked laughing a tiny bit.

"Nothing," he said quickly clearly not sensing my teasing tone. "I'm just hoping that you don't like them more then me or..."

"Chill James," I cut him off laughing still. "I'm just joking."

"Yeah I knew that," he said a little too quickly making me roll my eyes at him. "Of course I'm too amazing to be replaced and..."

"Sure," I interrupted him again smirking slightly as I spoke. "I'm sure you're not at all jealous of me hanging out with the alternative, better version of your band." I sighed a teasing tone to my voice still.

"Not at all," he muttered his voice slightly agitated rather then joking and I looked at my lap waiting for him to say anything else but he didn't.

"Do you have a show tonight then?" I asked clearing my throat slightly.

"Oh no," he replied quickly as I pulled myself up off of my bed to walk other to my dressing table. "We have tonight off and tomorrow are traveling to Japan."

"Oh really?" I asked tilting my head so I sandwiched my phone between my shoulder and ear.

"Yeah it's sort of exciting isn't it?" he asked and I hummed in response to let him know I agreed with him. "Are you seeing them tonight again?" James asked as I pulled my tangle teaser out of a draw to fix my hair.

"Seeing who?" I asked brushing out some of the natural curls I had.

"5 Seconds Of Summer," he replied and shuffled slightly sensing whatever I said would be bad. If I was to be honest and say yes I was going out with them then the slightly jealousy I was already sensing would grow but if I lied and said no he'd been happy at first but then annoyed because he'd find out I was lying the moment we were photographed or noticed by fans.

"Sort of," I replied dropping the brush to the dressing table. "I'm meant to be going to this after party thing and it turns out so were they so I'll see them there, they're really nice though so..."

"Yep I know," he sounded tense again and I let out a small sigh at that.

"James," I frowned and looked up in the mirror at my reflection. "What's wrong?" I asked fidgeting slightly.

"Nothing," James said, again a little too quickly.

"Look I know you," I bit my lip lightly. "James what's wrong, you can talk to me, well you need to talk to me."

"Nothing's wrong," he sighed his voice harsher.

"James," I said firmly and he again sighed clearly understanding I wasn't about to back down. "Is it to do with Ash or Michael or something?" I asked softly.

"Look Holly it's nothing," he tried to dismiss the subject.

"Michael?" I asked and he murmured something in response. "James we're friends," I let out a sigh. "There's nothing going on there, never has, never will."

"Hol, when it comes to guys you don't know it all," he sighed and then paused slightly for a moment.

"Well I know that," I mumbled taking my foundation out of a different draw.
