"I've been thinking," I sighed walking back into the main part of James' bedroom after having a quick trip to the small bathroom off of his room.

"That sounds worrying," James laughed slightly from where he was lying in his bed and placed his phone on his bedside table now I was back in his bedroom.

"Oh no it's a good thinking," I smiled slightly as I knelt on the oppisite side of the bed so I faced him.

"Okay go on then," he looked over at me smiling.

"Your apartment is a lot nicer then mine," I told him making him let out a small laugh.

"Is it really?" he asked in disbelief looking around his smallish room.

"Yes," I laughed a bit surprised he didn't believe me. "Your apartment is so big, mine's basically a cupboard." I shrugged and he squinted slightly confused clearly wanting me to go on. "Whenever I sleep here I sleep so much better because you don't have drunk students walking home after going to a club or something." I let out a small sigh.

"Yeah you do get weird people outside your apartment," he smiled a tiny bit making me let out a small laugh.

"I know," I let out a small sigh looking down at my lap, my hands tracing circles on the sheet.

"Isn't your leise up soon?" he asked me and I flicked my eyes up to him not expecting him to say that.

"Janurary," I nodded not sure how he knew that.

"So move," he shrugged as if it was obvious.

"Maybe," I bit my lip thinking about it. "I dunno I feel comfortable there but..."

"You hate it," he finished my sentance which at first I didn't respond to at first but then nodded in agreement because honestly he was right. I didn't like where I lived and did sort of want to move away from that apartment but I wasn't fussed and it seemed like a bit of a hassel actually. "Then move." he smiled slightly. "You could move in here if you want."

"Ha no," I laughed slightly.

"Woah alright," he smiled shaking his head at me. "Just being nice."

"Being clingy I think," I teased him smirking a bit.

"Says the one that called me to tell me she was coming here," he raised an eyebrow and I laughed again playing with his top which I was wearing to sleep in.

"Please you like that I do that," I laughed slightly. "I'm like your favorite surprise." I sighed grinning making him laugh a bit at me.

"No," James shook his head making me pout slightly. "Awh I'm joking," he laughed sitting up a bit more before quickly pecking my lips.

"Nope I'm just going to sleep now and not talk to you," I sighed shaking my head at him and he opened his mouth to protest or tease me a bit more.

"James it's like 2 in the morning turn your TV off and sleep" I heard Connor shout from outside James' bedroom door making me panic slightly worried that in a minute he could open the door and accidently find out about mine and James' relationship.

"Yeah sorry I'll erm switch it off," James said simply not having even an ounce of panic in his voice, actually he sounded calm and cool.

"Thank you some of us need our sleep," Brad grumbled before I heard footsteps walking away from the room.

"I think it might be bed time," James smiled at me slightly.

"On one condition," I let out a small sigh and he looked at me to continue. "Tell me I'm your favorite surprise." I grinned making him laugh.

"You're a wonderful surprise," he said being slightly patronising.

"Thank you James," I smile at him sweetly before he turned off his lamp which had been illuminating his bedroom and now with it off meant that the room was pitch black.
---

A soft knocking woke me up and I groaned slightly, shutting my eyes tighter because I hoped, preyed I was imagining it and there wasn't really a knocking.

"What was that?" I murmured to James who I was facing.

"Nothing just sleep," he dismissed me clearly half asleep himself but a felt him snake his arm around my waist. "We sleep." he told me not able to form a full sentence in his doused state but he stroked my side softly soothing me slightly making me crack a small smile keeping my eyes shut still. I heard the knock again but ignored it burying my head into the pillow it was resting on but then the sound of the door handle fidgeting alarmed me slightly and I opened my eyes to see James staring at me with the same worried look.

"Jesus James could you not here me knocking you..." I heard Brad's voice fill the room after the door opened but he cut himself off. "Ermmm," was all he said clearly noticing that James wasn't exactly alone like he thought. Brad's presence suddenly made me feel very awkward and uncomfortable but James sat up probably to explain what was going on. "Holly? Oh my God is that Holly?" Brad asked excitement filling his voice and I sat up slowly and looked over at Brad who was now grinning at me like a child but didn't say a word. "CONNOR I WAS RIGHT I TOLD YOU THEY WERE BACK TOGETHER I TOLD YOU." He ran out of the room shouting to Connor leaving me slightly speechless.

"I think they might know now," I finally said turning to look at James and he let out a small laugh at my comment.

"You think?" He shook his head at me.

"Yeah I do," I let out a small sigh avoiding eye contact and staring at my hands.

"Well it's probably time," James finally said after not speaking for a moment and I flicked my eyes up to look at him.

"Yeah," I nodded agreeing with him. "I think we should probably explain exactly what's going on." I sighed and he nodded, again agreeing with me. but before I could get out of the bed he tenderly kissed me in a soft sweet way which made me smile slightly pulling away from him.

"Come on then," he laughed slightly noticing my grin.

"Yeah," I sighed slipping out of the bed and following James to the still open door which Brad had sprinted out of earlier.

"Just follow my lead," he whispered to me softly taking hold of my hand delicately to comfort me.

"Always do dear," I sighed making him crack a small smile trying not to laugh as he walked me through to their living room where all three boys sat on the sofa grinning cheekily and smugly as soon as they spotted us. Their faces suddenly reminding me that I was currently wearing my pajama shorts most of which was covered by James' top which was hanging very loosely on me.

"Hi long then?" Connor asked speaking up first.

"Erm..." James looked over at me for some support.

"Since the 9th so a week and a bit," I finished and James nodded in agreement.

"This is the best Christmas miracle," Tristan smirked looking between the two of us.

"I called it, I knew it," Brad nodded grinning at me and I rolled my eyes resting my head on James' arm still a bit tired.

"Is that a good 'i called it'?" James asked Brad who was smiling still.

"It's good," Connor spoke for all of them.
