I woke up to an empty bed, which I was used to but also the faint sound of the radio playing from the kitchen making me remember that James was in my apartment and that he was home again. Softly I pulled myself up, hoping that I wasn't making too much noise so I wouldn't be heard by James as I walked through my bedroom pulling on the first thing I could find which happened to be James' top from the night before letting it fall loosely off of my body before tied my hair up into a messy high ponytail, only quickly glancing in the mirror to check I looked acceptable. I still trod carefully as I walked through the halls of my apartment making sure James couldn't hear me. The radio got louder and louder as I got closer and closer to the kitchen before standing in the wide open door staring at the back of James who was in pajama bottoms, which I assumed were tucked away in the back of my draws and he found this morning. I smiled softly, still staying quiet before tip toeing into the room surprised I hadn't been noticed yet. I remained quiet and unnoticed right until I stood right behind him as he stood at the hob.
"Hey," I smiled softly as I slipped smoothly around James' waist making him jump slightly making me hope that I was a good surprise rather then a scary one. "You're up early," I sighed getting onto my tip toes so I could just about rest my head onto his shoulder.
"That's jet lag for you Holly," he laughed slightly at me, one of his hands resting over mine.
"Must suck," I murmured into him and he just hummed in response. I peaked slightly over his shoulder to look at what he was cooking as hugged him tighter.
"You're hungry right?" he asked still cooking and and not looking over at me.
"I guess," I sighed.
"I am," he replied bluntly making me let out a small laugh.
"Doesn't your body think it's like mid afternoon though?" I asked softly.
"And that's why I'm up early," he laughed softly as I left a small kiss on his bare shoulder. "Did you sleep well?" he asked.
"Mmm hmm," I hummed still pressed against his skin. "I would ask you the same question but you fell asleep straight away and were pretty out of it," I sighed releasing my arms before taking a step away from him and hopping over to sit on the worksurface next to the oven.
"Yeah sorry about that," he smiled slightly over at me.
"No it's fine," I laughed a tiny bit. "We just didn't actually get to talk much," I sighed swinging my legs slightly.
"I don't think you can blame me for that one," he smirked turning the gas off and moving so he stood in front of me.
"I'd hardly say it's solely my fault either," I shook my head smiling faintly. "It was a...joint effort, shall I say," I used one of my legs to pull him closer to me so he stood with only centimeters between us as he stood in between my legs. "But we can always talk another time," I shrugged running a hand through his hair.
"Do you want to talk now?" he asked softly resting one of his hands softly on my bare thigh.
"Maybe we could save that till later," I whispered keeping eyecontact with him but I noticed his eyes flick from mine, then to my lips, obviously wanting to close the small distance between us.
"Yeah?" his thumb softly brushed back and forth on my leg.
"Yeah," I laughed a tiny bit before softly pressing my lips against his but in this light way so the kiss lingered and he couldn't deepen it. "I missed you," I sighed breaking the kiss slightly. "You know that right?" I asked tilting my head to one side. "I really missed having you here and..." I was cut off by James kissing me, this time in a more passionate way, his hand creeping further up my leg to reach the end of the t-shirt I was wearing.
"I missed you too," he murmured reconnecting our lips the moment he stopped speaking, not actually giving me a chance to reply to him.
"How much?" I asked jerking my head backwards. "How much did you miss me?" I repeated the question removing my hand from being entangled in his hair and I took hold of his other hand, interlocking our fingers.
"A solid 5," he replied smugly.
"Out of 3 right?" I asked smirking slightly.
"Yeah sure," he rolled his eyes making me let out a small laugh. "You look pretty by the way."
"Thank you," I laughed awkwardly shuffling slightly on the surface.
"Seriously," he smiled, looking at me a lot softer then before. "I really like your top." he laughed playing with the hem of his shirt.
"I'll let you borrow it, maybe," I bit my lip softly.
"Wow how kind," he shook his head, laughing a tiny bi at me.
"I'm a nice person," I shrugged before quickly pecking him. "Now you cooked food right?" I asked smiling at him.

"Oh my God it's Holly Parker girlfriend the girl that dates every guitarist in every band ever," Tristan announced, forcing this fake 'valley girl' type of voice, as I walked into the boys living room.
"Wrong," I shook my head laughing. "I only dated one and have been rumored to be dating more."
"Oh are you and Mikey not official yet?" Brad asked as I took my seat on the sofa next to James, who looked extremely uncomfortable with this whole situation right now, clearly upset about the Michael talk.
"Michael not Mikey," I squinted slightly at Brad shaking my head at him.
"You two would be a cute couple," Brad smirked slightly at me and James cleared his throat before putting his arm around the back of the chair.
"I'm fine with my current relationship," I rolled my eyes.
"Who's that with again?" Connor asked smirking.
"Some guy in this rubbish band I doubt you've heard of them," I shook my head slowly.
