Chapter 17: Love

As they walked toward Butters' home, Butters held onto his Hello Kitty plushies tightly.

Kenny couldn't help but glance at Butters every so often as they walked. He loved the way the setting sun hit Butters' face, casting a soft glow on his face. Kenny's heart beat faster, 'So beautiful... so cute,' he thought.

When they reached Butters' doorstep, Butters turned to Kenny, "Thank you again, Mysterion, for saving me. I don't know what I would've done without you."

Kenny smiled beneath his mask. "No problem, Butters. I'm your protector. I'm meant to take care of you."

Butters blushed and nodded. Before parting ways, Butters mustered the courage to do something he had been wanting to do for a while. He leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss on Kenny's cheek, just beside his mask.

Time seemed to stand still for a moment. Kenny's heart skipped a beat as he felt the warmth of Butters' lips against his cheek, and he couldn't believe what had just happened.

Butters pulled back, his cheeks blushing, and he stuttered, "S-Sorry, Mysterion. I just... I've been wanting to do that for a while, and I thought..."

Kenny couldn't help but smile. He reached out and gently cupped Butters' cheek. "Butters, you don't have to apologize. I've been wanting to do this." With that, he leaned in and pressed his lips softly against Butters'.

It was a sweet moment. The setting sun hitting them with warm, golden light, as if nature itself was celebrating their kiss.

When they finally pulled away, they looked into each other's eyes, "M-Mysterion, I... I love you."

"I love you too, Butters... I love you too."

Butters reached for Mysterion's hoodie, "C-Can I?"

Kenny is silent, "Butters, I... wait... not here."

Butters frowns, "Why? No one is watching. I want to see your handsome face."

Kenny blushes, "You will soon. I promise." Kenny cups Butters' face.

Kenny smiled, "What do you think I'll look like?"

Butters looked into Kenny's eyes, "I think you'll look amazing without that mask." he replied with a soft, loving smile. "I imagine you with a kind and handsome face, just like the hero you are. Maybe... dark hair to match your mysterious vibe...? Either way, no matter what, I'll love you."

Kenny chuckled as his heart swelled, "I can't wait to show you, Butters," he whispered, "When the time is right, I promise I'll reveal everything to you." They were silent for a minute, "God, you're beautiful~ You're so so beautiful~"

Butters blushed deeply at Kenny's words, feeling his heart beat go faster, "You're making me blush, Kenny."

They were silent again before Butters asked something, "What happened when you talked to my parents?" Butters asked.

"Hm?"

"When you talked to parents about... you know... did they put up a fight?" Butters asked again.

Kenny chuckled, "Hon, anyone who watches the news knows who I am... and they know what I can do... of course not."

Butters giggled, "Great... hey, Mysterion?"

"Yeah, hon?"

"I love you..."

"I love you too."

Mysterion then looked at the time, "It's getting late..."

"Stay... you're going to come back at midnight anyway." Butters begs.

Mysterion thought for a minute, "Alright. Can't let your parents know though. That would... be odd."

Butters nodded, "Ok. Come on." Butters grabbed Kenny's arm and pulled him inside. Mysterion chuckled as he followed him inside.

Up to his room and with laughs and giggles, they cuddled until night.
