Kenny woke up in Butters' room, who was still asleep.
Kenny gave Butters a quick kiss before quietly sneaking out of the room. It was almost time for school, and he knew Butters' parents would be coming to get him any moment. It was best Kenny left before they saw him, though he could care less; he had a boyfriend, but not just any boyfriend, he had Butters as a boyfriend. "Butters... oh Butters..." Kenny laughed, "Oh God... okay, well... I should probably get up and go..." Kenny smiled.
He got up and picked up his stuff before heading downstairs. No breakfast as per usual. His mom had taken his little sister to school today, so Kenny didn't have to wait.
Kenny left the house, being careful not to alert his dad who was drunkenly asleep on the couch.
Kenny got out and started walking, an occasional yawn along the way. Soon enough, Kenny got there. Everyone looked at him as he opened the door and sat down; he was late, like always, due to having to walk. He hated not being able to afford the bus anymore.
Kyle leaned and whispered in his ear, "Dude, you're almost an hour late; what were you doing?"
"Dude, you know I can't afford the bus anymore, I have to walk, it takes a while." Kyle sighed and leaned back into his own seat.
Kenny looked around, spotting Butters. "Butters..." man, he wished he could just hold him, but he was in class, and right now, not Mysterion, so he just sighed instead and laid his head down on his desk.
Kenny couldn't help but keep looking at Butters throughout class, though; his mind kept thinking of their time together. He remembered the way Butters would blush when they held hands, the warmth of his smile, and the comforting feeling of holding him in his arms.
As Kenny's mind wandered back to those moments with Butters, he felt happiness. He knew he had to focus on the class, but it was hard when all he could think about was Butters.
The teacher's voice became distant as Kenny found himself daydreaming about yesterday. While in Butters' room, Kenny remembered the way Butters had laughed at one of Kenny's jokes; goddamn was his laugh infectious, it was stuck in Kenny's mind, just playing in the background.
Kyle, noticing Kenny's distracted stare at Butters, who had not noticed it yet, nudged him gently and whispered, "Dude, you're really out of it today. Everything okay?"
Kenny snapped back to reality, "Yeah, sorry, just got a lot on my mind," he replied.
As the class continued, Kenny couldn't wait for the bell to ring. He was counting down the minutes until he could leave, change into his costume, and see Butters again.
Kenny thought some more, 'I should take him on a date!' he thought, 'What's the cheapest but still good place to take someone out?' Kenny was, of course, broke, so they couldn't go anywhere fancy, but Kenny still wanted to do something nice.
As Kenny thought, that's when he remembered something, 'I remember hearing something about Butters loving Bennigan's. I think that place is... fairly cheap. So I could take him there...'
Kenny smiled as he thought more about Kenny, more and more, losing himself in thoughts of Butters. All noise around him was drowned out, replaced with only Butters.
All he could hear was Butters, all he saw was Butters, all he wanted to feel was Butters in his arms and gently run his fingers through his hair, all he wanted to do was kiss Butters gently on his cute little face.
Everything was drowned out by just the need to be with Butters, protect Butters, make Butters happy. Everything was just about Butters, and Kenny loved it.
A world with just Butters and only Butters, Butters and Kenny together, forever.
