Shutoku was seen winning their match to advance to the championship league.

Senshinkan High advances to the championship league. Kirisaki Dai Ichi High advances also to the championship league.

The championship league will determine which two schools will represent Tokyo in the Winter Cup.

The four participating teams have been chosen.

"For better or for worse, we only have three games left. The Winter Cup preliminaries went by in a flash." Furihata said, looking over the chart.

"What are you idiots talking about? It's just the opposite. We're just getting started." Hyuga reminded the other first years.

"Have you forgotten already? Only the top 8 schools out of over 300 from the summer have been allowed to participate. In other words, the Winter Cup preliminaries began with the Inter-High preliminaries. It's one long qualifier that's been going on since this summer." Riko informed.

"Our first opponent in the championship is Senshinkan. We've lost to them twice already. Let's win this time!" Hyuga told the team.

"Yeah!"

"Tetsu-kun...?" You felt your friend's presence gone and also Kagami's, "Kagami too...? Where did they go...?"

You followed the voices you heard, "You lost the ball! Done my ass! You're not even close to completing it fully!" Kagami yelled.

"I lost the ball." Kuorko said making Kagami retort, "I just said that!"

"I need a new ball. I wish I could use the gym more. This is the sixth one." Kuorko said, Kagami passing him the ball as he inspected the leather of the object.

Kagami was shocked to hear this wasn't the first basketball he used for practice. You stood there shocked as well, 'Tetsu-kin's been practicing that much...? I never knew. I mean, he did tell me of his new drive. But I never knew he'd practice this hard.'

"Seems like you guys are having fun over here!" You smiled, appearing from your hiding spot, spooking Kagami, "GAH?! (Y/N)!? Stop acting like Kuorko!"

"Sorry, sorry! I just happened to see you both run off to the nearest public court. So I decided to stay behind you both." You sheepishly apologized with a smile to your tall friend.

"(Y/N)-san? Hello. Were you watching us?" Kuroko greeted you, "Mhm! That new drive looks awesome Tetsu-kun. If you perfect it, I bet not even Shutoku nor Tōō would block it!" You told him.

Your praise warmed the nonchalant male with a smile, "That's very much of you to see, (Y/N)-san."

"Of course, Tetsu-kun! Now, is it true this is your sixth basketball you used to practice outside?" You smiled before asking him some questions.

"Yes. It'll be my seventh one soon." Kuorko replied.

You were seen with sparkles emitting from your figure as you kept on talking about how cool it was for him to be this devoted.

"Why am I always the third wheel when it comes to these two...?" Kagami grumbled.

"Anyways. Are you boys done here? Hyuga-san and the others are getting worried. Stay here for a few moments longer and you'll meet with a ruthless Riko-san." You asked the boys before mentioning how the others would get mad and worried.

Hearing that, Kuorko flinched slightly, remembering the last time Riko was so angry at him for leaving the teams so suddenly. His legs almost broke by her bending in half.
