"I'm telling you, it's true!" A younger Momoi was seen speaking to Aomine.

"After practice, even though there's no one in the third string's gym, you can hear a ball bouncing!" Momoi told her childhood friend.

Aomine was seen having an indescribable face hearing, "What?"

"Sounds dumb." Aomine started to leave making Momoi try to stop him, "Wait, Dai! Aomine!"

While walking away, Aomine spun a basketball on his finger, "Ghosts don't play basketball. And if they do, I'll gladly play them one-on-one."

The dark navy-haired boy entered the third string gym, "Hey." He looked inside the gym and saw no one.

He flinched when now knowing Momoi's story wasn't a bluff.

'What? Hold on, seriously? Do basketball-playing-ghosts really exist?' Aomine's legs started shaking, 'No, there was probably someone practicing, and he just finished.'

He started to take a hesitant step back, 'But I thought I heard noises right before I opened the door.'

"Excuse me."

That scared Aomine immensely. He crouched down on the ground, covering his ears as she quaked in fear.

"Oh, god! I'm sorry! I promise not to bring gravure magazines to school! I won't sleep in class either! Evil spirit, begone!" He rambled on about his worst 'crimes', admitting to them and apologizing like he was going to be haunted.

"Huh? Aomine?" Kuroko asked.

Aomine stopped quivering and turned to see someone behind him, "What?"

We met on the first day of fall after we began attending Teiko Middle School.

After getting to know each other, the two were seen sitting on the floor of the gym.

Aomine laughed, "So you're so invisible no one noticed you're here? That's incredible!" He cackled more.

"Aomine, you're laughing too much," Kuroko told the male.

"Sorry. Huh? My name..." Aomine was surprised Kuroko knew of his name.

"You became a first-string starter as a first year. You're famous." Kuroko explained.

"Really? So, who are you?" Aomine asked.

"I'm on the third string." Kuroko answered, but it wasn't the answer Aomine was looking for, "No. I mean your name. And it doesn't matter what string you're on."

"You love basketball enough to stay every night to practice, right? There's no such thing as bad guys who like basketball. That's my theory." Aomine smiled.

Hearing that got Kuroko to smile, "It's a weird theory."

Aomine flinched in slight offence, "What?"

"I'm Kuroko Tetsuya. Nice to meet you." Kuroko introduced himself, getting Aomine to smile.

"You're sure you want to play me?" Kuroko asked Aomine, the two still seen in the third string gym.

"Yeah. Whenever you're ready." Aomine confirmed.

"Really?" Kuroko walked in front of Aomine, "Prepare yourself."

"Got it," Aomine smirked.

The two kept still, the only thing you could hear was the ball hitting the floor. Before Aomine could grasp the situation, Kuroko went past him.
