You looked in worry for Kaijo, 'The more they drag the game on, the more their abilities and strengths are taken from them...!'Kaijo — 51
Fukuda Sogo — 63
(Currently) Intermission before the final quarter.
You felt something shift in the air, 'Ryo-kun...? Is this...no...This feels different...What's he up to?'
The buzzer for the final quarter sounded. Signalling the game has resumed. Kasamatsu has the ball and tries to get past Ichida, Fukuda Sogo's captain.
He was able to pass it towards the ace, Kise. But Haizaki was quick to mark him. Without much to do, he went to do the one-handed dunk, "Another one-handed dunk." Kagami noticed the move.
"But that rhythm...Ryo-kun's way worse than usual...!" You said in shock when seeing Haizaki take the ball from Kise before he could dunk it.
"I just took that during the second quarter. It's not yours anymore." Haizaki mentioned, "It's mine."
The captain of Fukuda Sogo was being marked by Kaijo's center: Kobori, "Captain!" One of Ichida's teammates yelled out to him to pass.
"Give it to me!" Haizaki yelled to the bald man, but he took the ball from his teammate's hands, "Damn it!" Kise cursed, trying to stop Haizaki.
"I'll show you how to do it." The male with the braided hair stated, "You do it like this!" He shouted before doing the same one-handed dunk.
"Fukuda Sogo's in complete control of the game," Izuki stated, "I had no idea Haizaki was so strong," Hyuga mentioned.
Hayakawa looked in shock, "Impossible!" Kobori beside him was just as surprised, "He's copying him perfectly."
Kagami beside you noticed something wrong with Kaijo's ace, "Something's wrong with Kise's movements," Kuroko agreed, "You're right. Thought his moves have been stolen, I can't imagine Kise falling this hard."
"Ryo-kun..." you mumbled in worry, Kuroko patted your hand to comfort you, 'I could understand his situation. He doesn't want to use all of his moves. Or else that stupid prick will steal them all and he won't be able to use them anymore.'
But he's starting to run out of options.
"Overworked?" Koganei asked, "Possibly." Riko answered, "I can't imagine Aomine was the only one who injured himself during the Inter-High's Kaijo—Tōō game. Kise has probably been practicing hard without recovering completely."
Kagami gasped at that, "But..." he remembered the words Kise told him back at the park and after their game against Yosen.
Your friend stood up from his chair, "But there's no way he'd lose to that shithead. He promised to win so we could play in the semifinals. He won't lose!"
You smiled, agreeing with Kagami, "And you tell me to sit down." You gave an airy chuckle before standing up as well, "Ryo-kun is stronger than this!" You stated despite seeing Haizaki beat Kise again.
Kaijo — 53
Fukuda Sogo — 70
Only 5 minutes remaining till the end of the game.
Kise tried to stand but his ankle made him stand down, 'I'm starting to run out of moves. Damn it. And my foot...'
