"What were you thinking?!" Hani hissed at me. "Napakaklaro ng plano, Den! Ibibigay mo kay Rahim yung sulat hindi kay Damian!"

I raised my hands up as surrender. "Natakot ako eh. Rahim is so unapproachable. Mahirap siyang lapitan. Baka imbes na tanggapin niya yung letter ay isoli niya pa sa akin!"

Soule facepalmed at me. Tapos na silang magpanggap na kinikilig sa ginawa kong pagbigay ng letter kay Damian. "May point ka naman sis. Pero si Damian yan, boyfriend ni Chesca. Baka mamaya pag-initan ka noon."

Cora raised her brow at Soule. "Sis, di ka nakikinig sa balita. Hiwalay na sila. Hindi mo ba nakita si Chesca kaninang umaga? Namumugto yung mata kaka-iyak."

Oh dear. I looked back at the table where Rahim and his friends were sitting. Damian Antonio's brows furrowed at me. Matalim ang titig niya sa akin.

Hindi ko na nakita yung letter at wala na iyon sa kamay niya. I'm beginning to regret it now. Kung kay Rahim ko lang ibinigay yung sulat...medyo gumaan na sana ang problema ko. God, my forehead is hurting at my own dumbness.

Hindi rin ako bingi sa mga naririnig ko na madalas na raw may bangas at nasasangkot sa gulo si Damian. And by that, he's more like Yuano. Ang kaibahan lang nila, walang babae si Yuano, pero puro barkada. Bad influence friends.

Bihira lang nga talaga ang completely opposite na barkadahan. Rahim is formal while Damian is...untamed.

There's a part of me that thought, na ganoon nga, na baka nga gaguhin lang ako but I pushed through because I hoped that maybe he just needs a chance to change and the right amount of love to feel loved. I just shrugged off the negative feeling. Because ayun nga, ayokong mang-husga ng tao

"Hindi ka makakapagpabago ng tao, Den. Hindi ka Diyos," Hani reminded me and that made me nod. Totoo naman kasi.

Just like how we predicted, imbes na tantanan ako ni Yuano. Mas lalo pang nagalit sa akin dahil nga si Damian pa daw talaga ang 'pinalit' ko.
