I can't believe I have the world famous lawyer's daughter for a girlfriend! It's awesome! I really wanna meet her dad in person but I doubt he has any time for me. That's what fame does to you. It keeps you busy all the time and away from all the people you love. And Tris, god! I love her so much! Not because of her awesome background but of who she really is. Even though she's such a famous and rich person's daughter, she doesn't let it get to her head. She so down to earth. That's what I love about her.
"Tris?" I say. She turns over to look at me.
"How do you stay so down to earth?" I ask. It's really impossible to be not arrogant when you are someone like her.
"What'd you mean?" She asks.
"For your background, you could be well-known here. But you're so down to earth. How?" I ask her.
"I just don't let it get to my head." She says.
"I know that. How?" I ask.
"My father taught me to be humble about things like that. He says it's selfish and doesn't create a good impression to the society. But sometimes, I use that to get out of really bad situations like getting bullied. I've gotten bullied before." She says. "I just scare them away."
"Wow." Is all I say.
