Liliana's P.O.V:

I sat in the backseat of the Tesla, hearing Kaiden and Nathan speaking in a foreign language. Kaiden was sitting in the passenger seat as Nathan was driving. Jason didn't follow us since he said something about getting his soulmate. His soulmate was probably Aimee with how long they've been fuck-buddies. I looked out the window, feeling Kaiden's emotions of worry about something, then glanced to see him still facing forward. I wondered if his shoulder was doing okay. Did he really take a shower with his bandage on?

I agreed to help him with killing Calvin, and after that, I really wanted him to find someone less...damaged. I planned to ask his grandmother, even Nathan if I had to, on how to set someone free from this bond. Kaiden deserved someone better and I wanted to make sure that he got the best. I smirked a little when I thought about the kiss he gave me again earlier. I hated that he did it against my will again, but I wasn't completely mad at it. He was a great kisser. I stopped myself from thinking about what he was like in other aspects and just exhaled.

Nathan pulled into a private hanger, and I stared at the private plane that was being watched by a bunch of guys in black suits and ties. My door was opened for me, and I looked up at the guy wearing the suit and tie. He held his hand out for me, waiting, then I got out the car without his help. I didn't want to exfoliate my skin raw for the next three hours if I had taken the guy's hand. Kaiden walked to me, taking my hand, and pulled me along as I looked around the hanger. There wasn't any other thing in here other than one more plane in the far back.

Kaiden pulled me to stand in front of him then motioned for me to walk in front of him. Nathan was talking with a guard, not paying attention, and I thought about using this as a chance to run away. I counted ten guards in total and that was without Kaiden and Nathan in that count. I was fucked the minute I did try to pull something.

"I know what you're planning," Kaiden reminded me, and I turned around to at him. Kaiden only tucked the left side of his hair behind his ear as he went on, "You can try it, but I won't let you get far."

"You'll keep me prisoner?" I demanded.

Kaiden only shrugged, "I call keeping you safe, darlin'. Now, please, get on the plane before I carry you up there."

I was about to say something when Liam's Impala came speeding into the hanger. He parked next to the Tesla, hurrying out of his car, and grabbed the two bags. Liam ran to us, handing the bags to Nathan and Kaiden.

He said, "We need to leave now. Thralls are starting to come this way."

"Thralls?" I asked.

"Basically, vampire lap dogs," Nathan gave the quick explanation.

Police sirens were ringing in the distance, and I recognized one of the sirens. That was Ian's sheriff car. What the hell was he doing here? This was completely out of his jurisdiction. Kaiden started to push me towards the plane, trying to get me on board, when Ian's sheriff car pulled into the hanger.

"Fucking hell! Get her on the plane!" Liam roared at Kaiden, who just started to full on shove me up the steps.

Kaiden got me in the plane, and said, "Hide in the very back row, and don't come out until you hear me calling for you. Only respond to my voice, and no one else's."

"But what about—"

"Liliana, just go," Kaiden glared.

I watched him hurrying back out of the plane then I heard gun shots ringing outside of the plane. I hurried to the back row, sitting on my knees on the creamy beige leather seats, then lifted up the cardboard like curtain. I stared in horror at the sight. All the guards in suits standing with Liam and Nathan as they were firing weapons at the police. Kaiden was zooming around, taking out some cops from behind to thin the heard, then I looked at Ian as he was shooting his gun at Liam. I banged on the window, screaming for Ian to stop what he was doing, but he couldn't hear me.
