I kept repeating it over and over again, trying to get my heart to stop beating so fast. I know someone is watching my actions from afar, but I don’t know who.

I leaned on the windowsill, checking out the outside, alive with the crowd noise of Wizard and Enchanter, as well as the light coming from the sun. Different kinds of birds are everywhere, and everyone is busy with their own life. Their land is very magical because they are free to use their magic without harming their fellow.

Wizard is a man, and Enchanter is a woman. They are both inborn with a magic that passes from generation to generation. Their children will inherit the power of their parents. Their case is different from Yunic because God and Goddesses gifted the magic of Yunic. Their ability will appear in their teenage. However, when they turned at the age of twenty without magic, they will conclude as Ordihum. That’s the law of Werzenia.

We have been here for a week, and it was because Prinsipe Ocuser had to work on something. I don’t know what it is, but they were looking for a person.

“Tara doon mukhang may palabas,” pangungulit ni Prinsesa Gail.

“Saglit lang hintayin mo ako,” sigaw ko.

Tumawa siya ng mahinhin at hinintay akong makatayo ng maayos. Naglakad kami papunta sa nagkukumpulan na tao at pareho kaming namangha ng makita ang pagpapakitang-gilas ng mga enchanter sa kanilang mahika. Papalakpak sana ako ngunit nakita kong papalapit sa aming pwesto ang mga taong pinagtataguan ko.

“Stop it. The high official of Fortaleza is here,” I whispered to her.

“Then why are you covering my eyes? Paano tayo makakaalis ng maayos?” she asked but I started walkingwhle still covering her eyes, and the only thing she did was follow my steps.

I secretly bit my tongue when I heard the familiar voice. Oh shit!

“Scan the whole area and find that bitch!” the General Abstan jerked command.

Hindi niya ako pwedeng mahanap. Prinsesa Gail felt my trembled body and she knew that I can’t move a single step because of shock. Naging alerto si Prinsesa Gail at hinila ako sa mataong lugar. Nakipagsiksikan kami hanggang sa tumigil siya sa harap ng fountain. The sunlight blared through my eyes like an air horn, and I brought my hand up to shield my eyes from the painful rays when Princess Gail remove his hand. I found myself standing behind the main road of Fortaleza. Pinagtitinginan kami ng mga taong dumadaan, tila kinikilatis kaming dalawa ni Aren.

Ayoko lang na mahuli ako ni General Abstan. Siya ang dahilan kong bakit ako napadpad sa Werzenia dahil gusto niyang pakasalan ko siya. Hindi ko na kayang pagdaanan muli ang paghihirap na naranasan ko mula sa kamay niya. He captured me six month ago before I went in Werzenia. It was not a good experience and I always having nighmare because of it.

“We need to leave again right?” she bite his bottom lip as she start to walk. Tumango ako bilang sagot sa kaniya.

“Kailangan nating makaalis dito,” bulong ko.

I became alert when everyone panicked. My eyes widened when I saw a ton of guards searching for something. Maybe they were searching for me. I saw General Abstan from afar, and he was riding a white horse. I can tell that he was pissed. It was raging all over his rugged face while leading the guards. I was glad that we were too far from their position. Nasa harapan namin ang malaking fountain na nagsisilbing harang para hindi kami makita. I groaned inwardly. The last thing I didn’t want to happen right now was to be found by General Abstan or see his terrible face. Mostly because I knew what he would do in case he won in our game, a hide-and-seek game.
