RACE DAY: Kiara couldn't help but play with her necklace. Pierre was racing already, the race had started and she was watching patiently and anxiously.
She had tried to not show it, knowing fully well that a camera will find her soon. She was twisting the pendant of her necklace as Pierre and Charles went head to head.
She wasn't really nervous when she was the was overtaking and driving but then again she was a watcher now. Holding on to her Pierre necklace for dear life.
Charles and Pierre were nearing turn 12 and the French spoke through the radio, "I'm going to overtake." He said. Kiara shook her head and pulled on Josh's arm.
"Tell him don't, it's too risky. They might crash together." She said. Josh relayed the message and Pierre responded, "I'm risking it." He said.
Kiara looked at Josh, the engineer didn't have to hear the words she was saying. He sighed, "Just this once." He muttered and connected her mic to his radio.
"Pear."
"Ma belle, are you watching?" Pierre asked with a chuckle. She snickered, "It's too risky Pear." She said. The driver however let out a hum, "I can do it though." She bit her lip and looked at the screen.
She waited for it, keeping her eyes on the screen, "Hold on." She said to Pierre who smirked, "I knew you would support me in this process." He said.
Kiara let out a scoff, "Wait..." she muttered and Pierre hold off, waiting for her signal. He trusted her, she had done this before multiple times, overtaking Lewis, Lando, Fernando, and even Max a few times.
As turn 12 was in view, Pierre waited until he finally heard it, "Go! Now Pear!" she yelled. Pierre pushed everything that he got and successfully overtook Charles who cursed in his radio.
"Whoo! Let's go baby!" Pierre yelled happily. Kiara let out a sigh of relief, "Good job baby." She said with a proud smile. He chuckled and continued on, pushing further, using Kiara's strategy with a smile.
Kiara smiled to herself, proud at him for successfully overtaking Charles. "Kiara, Charles curses you for helping Pierre." Josh said with a chuckle. She let out a loud laugh, "It sucks to be you Charles."
The race ended and Pierre landed a P4, he could have done more, something he knew that and he had been saying that in interviews. When he finished, he walked to Kiara who was smiling at him proudly.
All the frustration of not getting a podium and the result he wanted faded away the moment he saw her. The smile on her face as she opened her arms.
Pierre smiled and took off his helmet, rushing to her to be wrapped in her arms, "You did it baby." she said and he couldn't help but melt into her, "My baby strategist, my beautiful..."
