Anyone who knew Roxy- Mae Monroe within the company or back home in Detroit knew that when it came to the woman and driving, there was only ever two things that were bound to have happened if she was late for any kind of occasion weather work or personal , one reason for her lateness would be her ability to find at least one lost animal wherever she went that would ultimately end up in hers & her boyfriends home after she had convinced her boyfriend they could rehome whatever it was , and the other reason to her lateness when asked would be her lack of a sense of direction which would result (regardless of her GPS) in one of her famous' Mae-day Adventures' as her friends had affectionly called it, and that was what people were betting had happened at Hard to Kill in Atlanta seeing as Roxy was nowhere to be found.
Looking at his watch once again for about the sixth time in minutes , Patrick was getting more and more concerned as to his partner and her whereabouts after finding out from the woman's best friend Joe Hendry that she hadn't turned up for their training session ready for her match against Mickie that night, an action that was unusual for her. Watching as his tag partner, best friend & brother stared at his phone once again , Josh asked Patrick " Have you tried her phone again dude?.. Maybe she was driving and couldn't answer " "she's not answering, so either she still has it on silent, she has no signal , or it's switched on airplane mode again . I tried find my iPhone but even that isn't bringing her up." Knowing if he's concern was severe that Patrick's was a million times worse, Josh joked as he tried to lift the mood "you'd think that you would've learnt to not let her go out on her own especially on days like this ... or the very least, make sure she has a Sat-Nav... and maybe a tracking device somewhere on her or the car "making Patrick laugh. . After checking his phone once again with the same result , Patrick sighed again before he added "I'm not her keeper.. I know that, I promised her she'd keep her wanderlust when we first got together but when she does this.. I want to Slice bread her ass"" you would have her any other way" josh smiled "course not ,she's her own cute but very dim at times human being.... look, I love my Mae to pieces but she scares me" "you aren't the only one she scares " Josh laughed. Walking towards the women's locker room to get ready for that night , Kira noticed the two men talking and walked towards them then asked after seeing the look of both concern & confusion on written their faces , already knowing what the answer was going to be "I don't suppose you've seen Rox have you Pat ? Everyone is wondering where she is" " Nope. She is on one of her in famous drives again we think and no balls here won't call her" Josh joked to which Patrick declared, biting back " I told you douchebag, I have tried ringing her and she isn't answering her phone! and I am pretty sure Rox can confirm to you just how big my balls are" "I didn't need to know that " Josh moaned retching. Watching the two men play fight, Kira sighed and exclaimed, knowing that she needed to take control of the situation " Jeez... hang on let me try her, you two are worse than children sometimes , I don't know how the firework puts up with you" "I will have you know, I have more maturity in my little finger than Rox does "Josh dramatically exclaimed. As Kira found the number that she needed, she put the phone to her ear & smiled before stating after a few seconds of ringing " so what's your excuse this time Monroe..... uh huh..... uh huh" " what going on?" Patrick asked confused, thankful his 'punk rock snow white' had got in touch finally "where is she? " , watching the woman smile, he tried to take the phone from the woman who fought him off with ease and exclaimed " I'll let him know firework... bye". Putting her phone back in her pocket, she smiled and stated to the confused looking two men with a grin on her face " she'll be here in about 10 minutes, she's completely fine, She just had to make a.... pit stop", noticing the tone in Kira's voice, Josh declared " I don't know if I like the sound of that man.. remember the last time Roxy said she had to make a pit stop.... I still have the scar from that asshole of a pig she saved on my leg & arm " " it can't be that bad, you're over exaggerating " Patrick smirked " and besides, you scared her, what do you expect" " I expect to not open your backyard door to a 10 ton pig" " Maeflower warned you, you chose to not listen" Patrick sarcastically exclaimed as he rolled his eyes, making her a laugh.
