Kan hurriedly grabbed his bag and ran down from the fourth floor of the house when his manager called, signaling that it was time for him to head out to the filming location. He had just realized that he might have made the wrong choice to rent this whole house and live alone instead of getting a condo or staying with Kim. Plus, the house he rented was a four-story townhouse. Going up and down the stairs every day, especially when rushed like this, left him pretty worn out.

He clasped his favorite canvas shoulder bag containing his script and personal items, then shoved his phone into his pants pocket before going to get his house keys from behind the fridge and heading straight out the front door.

A familiar car was parked in front of the fence. Kan hurried over to unlock the gate and open it before closing it behind him and making sure to lock it as usual. His long legs carried him swiftly to the car, where he opened the door.

"Good morning, P' See," he cheerfully greeted his manager sitting in the driver's seat.

Kan was overjoyed when his old agency, where he used to train as an idol trainee, immediately sent someone like P' See to assist him after he passed the series casting. He was grateful because having to travel to the shooting location this early would have been twice as difficult.

"Morning! Have you eaten anything?" P' See asked as she held up a 7-Eleven bag filled with the bread and banana-flavored milk that Kan liked.

"I'll eat it later; it's too early now, and I can't eat much." Kan declined but still took the bag and stuffed it into his shoulder bag before pulling on his seatbelt as P' See started the car.

"You can sleep first; I'll wake you when we get there," P' See said with a slight smile.

Even though P' See was trying to seem bright and alert this early dawn when the sun had yet to rise over the horizon, Kan sensed that his pretty manager was also not fully awake. He felt bad every time P' See told him to sleep first during the drive, but she insisted, saying he needed the energy for the shoot and that she could sneak naps while he rested so she would not be worried.

In truth, Kan understood what P' See was getting at. But still, the younger one worried and felt awkward. He didn't actually want to sleep, but these damn eyelids sure got heavy fast. Even though he intended to chat with P' See and keep her company the whole way,

Zzz...

...

"We're here, Kan." P' See gently shook him awake. With just her calling his name once, the owner of said name began to stir before slowly blinking his eyes open sluggishly. He unbuckled his seatbelt, grabbed his shoulder bag, and stepped out of the car without hesitation.

Early dawn, when the sun first rises, is working time for a filming crew. It was tough having to get up, but Kan persevered. Just the actors being called in this early was nothing compared to the crew members who had to arrive on set hours before the actors.

"Good morning, everyone! Good morning, P'! Good morning, Nong!" Kan briskly waved and greeted all the people he passed by at the location aloud. P' See had taught him that everyone working on set has their own roles and duties important to the production. Respect everyone because they are all colleagues.

"Nong Kan, you're here? Had breakfast yet?" The catering auntie greeted him cheerfully.

"What's available?" Kan asked as he walked up to the food booth to see what was on the menu this morning.

"There's rice porridge with ground pork; want some? I'll scoop you a hot bowl," the auntie offered.

"Yes, please, but just a little. I can't eat much in the morning or I'll get too full," he requested.
