The bustling sounds of the crew could be heard all around. Filming started again this week after taking a break for three to four days. According to the filming schedule, we would be on set from Thursday to Sunday, though we didn't necessarily shoot every day. Sometimes we would only use three out of the four days scheduled. Monday through Wednesday were considered rest days.

That may be true for Kan, but not for crew members like the cameramen, lighting team, art director team, costume team, makeup and hair stylists, or even the director himself. They may not get a break like him, since they have to rush off to work on other projects. People need to earn a living after all. Even the other actors who are starting to gain some fame and buzz don't have work on their days off, so they take on small jobs here and there. As for Kan, he could only lounge around watching TV at home because he was too free and didn't have any work.

He felt it was a waste and wanted to find something to do. But what could he do? He had never tried living a life where he had to go out and work part-time to support himself. Growing up in a family that doted on him so well led him to live a comfortable life. Having to go out and find a job that wouldn't be too tiring in order to support himself seemed rather difficult. He lay there thinking that there must be some kind of job he could do to earn him money without too much hardship. But try as he might, he couldn't think of anything.

Kan's life started looping once he had been on set for a while. Even though he didn't have many scenes to shoot, he still had at least one shoot day per week. He was getting used to the atmosphere of working on set and was growing close with the crew, like the catering auntie, cameramen, and lighting guys, because Kan liked to chat with them during his breaks between scenes he wasn't in.

But the atmosphere on set today felt different than usual. Although they had moved the shoot to a mall with nice, cool air conditioning, the mood felt tense and awkward. Especially the dynamic between Poom and Sun, who seemed more distant than normal. Usually, when on set together, they were close and chatted playfully. But today it was the complete opposite. Their faces were glum, and Kan hadn't seen them talk even once since the morning.

"What's up with them? They haven't talked at all today," his manager leaned in and whispered to Kan after he came back from grabbing some fruit off the craft services table.

"Don't know. Maybe they fought?"

"Oh really? What about?"

"I don't know."

In truth, he did know...

But he chose not to say it because he felt that if he told others, they would definitely see Poom as petty. Even though, in the future, someone else might bring up what happened, at least he could proudly claim it wasn't him who spread it.

'This scene should be cute and playful—close friends joking around. This feels forced. Let's redo it,'

The director's voice sounded through the walkie talkies, which the entire crew could hear. Kan glanced over at Book, who was quietly reading his script in the other corner. Their gazes met with mutual understanding, but neither said anything aloud.

They knew well why the situation had become like this, but it was a problem the troublemaker would have to resolve themselves. They were merely observers.

'Cut!!! Not yet; why can't you two get this today? Too many takes. Focus up. Let's go again.'

The director's voice grew angrier than before, signaling to everyone his rising temper. Usually, when Poom and Sun had scenes together, they would only take about 20 minutes to film. But today, they were struggling with even a simple, friendly banter scene, and it had already been over forty minutes. This threw off the planned filming schedule considerably.
