Kan and Book collected themselves as they stepped out of the car. Both tried to maintain a normal demeanor as they walked towards the nearby vintage coffee shop. Book's eyes spotted his two friends from a distance. Their distinct clothing style, which differed from that of other tourist groups, helped them stand out and be easily identified.

The couple walked in with a smile, attempting to appear as natural as possible. Despite their close friends' scrutinizing glances, they paid little attention. They assumed that if they did not speak, no one would notice. The elder approached the table and pulled out a chair for the younger to sit in. Meanwhile, Nun and Can focused their attention on the two newcomers.

"What are you looking at?" Book inquired bluntly.

"..." His close friends did not respond, only shrugging and denying that there was anything.

Book observed his friends' behavior and knew exactly what they were thinking. But he did not want to inquire further. How could he have been unaware of what his two friends were suspecting after ten years of friendship?

"What shall we order to eat?" Book inquired, not wanting the atmosphere to be overly quiet.

"Can and I ordered tea to drink while we waited."

"Oh."

"Order whatever you want to eat."

"Are not you all eating?"

"We are! We were waiting for you two. So we can order and eat together. If we had ordered and eaten first, you would have complained again about our inability to wait. "I do not want to hear it," Nun complained, raising her hand to request a menu from the waitress to help her decide.

The local food they ordered was quickly served. During that time, Kan was uncomfortable. He could sense an unusual atmosphere around him, even though Can and Nun were still chatting cheerfully as usual. However, something in the two seniors' eyes appeared to be very different than before. As if they were suspicious of something.

Worry started to grow in his heart. Although no one had mentioned what he did with Book in the car, he became even more paranoid. It was a similar feeling to when someone does something wrong and is afraid others will find out.

"Kan, are you alright?"

"I'm fine, P' Nun."

"Oh, I noticed you have been quiet since you walked in."

"It is nothing," Kan forced a smile to avoid making the questioner suspicious.

"Good. "I thought Book might have bullied you while changing clothes," Nun continued, her eyes turning mischievously to the owner of the name.

"N-No, Book did not do anything." The stuttering voice immediately rendered Kan's actions suspicious.

"Strange..."

"Why would you tease that kid?" Can turned to scold Nun, lightly hitting her arm to signal her to stop what she was doing, as he noticed the teased person's face becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

"Well, I was only joking."

"Stop, stop, stop. Let us keep eating. So we can go back to the hotel and rest. We need to check out soon." Book stepped in to mediate between Can and Nun. He did not want them to argue now. He was in a good mood right now.

The meal was over quickly. Everyone was very pleased with the northern food they ordered. Although it was strange at first to eat because the taste was quite rustic, once their taste buds adjusted, everyone thoroughly enjoyed this meal.
