Kan shifted slightly after waking up, then slowly opened his eyes. Last night, he went out with his senior gang and got drunk again. So he decided to stay overnight in Han's room. The last thing he remembered was collapsing onto the sofa, but when he awoke this morning, he found himself lying in bed with Han. Although startled, he moved away slowly, afraid of waking the other person.

"Are you awake, bro?" Han greeted Kan in a sleepy voice as he was about to get out of bed.

"Yeah."

"So early. Where are you rushing to?"

"I have a flight to Chiang Mai today."

"Huh? Who are you going with? I didn't know about that."

"With P' Book. We had plans for the previous month.

"Oh, you did not invite me," The younger one pretended to be disappointed, making Kan feel instantly guilty.

"Hey, how do I know? You are also not particularly close to P' Book. It would be weird to invite you along."

"I am just kidding! I'll be going back to my hometown province too."

"Oh right. I will go take a shower first. "I still need to return to the condo to get my luggage." Kan finished speaking and jumped out of bed, rushing to the bathroom.

Everything happened very quickly. He used to linger and dawdle, but today he seemed to have changed completely. He rushed through everything in less than half an hour because he was afraid P' Book would chastise him if he was late.

He had everything planned out, but he could not turn down Han's invitation to go drinking last night. So, today, he had to rush to make sure everything was on time.

Kan decided to call a motorcycle taxi to get back to his condo. It took 20 minutes to commute, plus time to quickly pack clothes from his closet into his luggage. Any skincare products were tossed into his travel bag without being carefully selected. Then he opened the taxi app and called for a ride to the airport. Fortunately for him, he did not have to wait long, as the taxi arrived at the condo entrance shortly thereafter.

"Take the expressway right away, please. I'm in a big hurry."

He informed the driver after dragging his luggage into the taxi. The driver appeared to understand, nodding before leaving immediately. They could not go too fast at first because the area around his condo was a densely populated residential neighborhood. Kan's heart was pounding with fear of missing his flight. If that happened, P' Book would undoubtedly scold him, ruining the entire trip.

However, once the taxi entered the expressway, the driver transformed into a race car driver, flooring the accelerator until Kan was pressed against his seat. Although frightening, it made the passenger feel somewhat relieved.

Soon, the large airport sign became visible. Kan checked the time on his phone screen before letting out a long, relieved sigh. His concerns about not making it were unfounded; after all, he would arrive on time. He gripped his luggage tightly, ready to disembark. Fortunately, he chose to pay by credit card, which eliminated the need for cash when he arrived at his destination.

As the taxi arrived in front of the domestic departures entrance, he immediately opened the door, jumped out, and dashed away, thanking the driver for getting him there on time.

Kan dragged his luggage inside while texting P' Book to coordinate a meeting location. The other quickly replied that he was at the check-in counter, so Kan dashed over to meet the senior.

"You are late, P'."

"I just got here."

"How about the others?" Kan asked, not seeing anyone else there besides Book.
