The fourth acting class left everyone tired. The improv exercises we did today drained everyone's energy. Because it required so much physicality and passion, the classroom environment was somewhat chaotic. So it is no surprise that everyone seems to have just gone through a terrible ordeal. Everyone's faces were worn out.

Teacher Beam divided the students into couples and led an improv activity called "improvise" to practice exchanging emotions for acting. Each pair performed admirably, producing deeply moving sequences. Arguments were escalating, and the classroom atmosphere was anything but peaceful. So it is not surprising that everyone ended up in this state.

Kan went to the bathroom, a little throbbing pain from his usual migraines starting to build. It was most likely due to his previous heated exchange with Book during the workout. Furthermore, the scene Book chose addressed issues that the two of them had discussed, which had a significant impact on Kan's feelings. But Kan didn't take it personally since he knew it was only an exercise.

Book chose an improvised scenario based on a dispute he had with Kan. Book claimed he was going to invite Kan to a movie, but then changed his mind and said he would rather go with another close friend. Kan could not help but feel irritated when he found out. He refused to speak to Book, giving him the silent treatment. When Book eventually agreed to reconcile, they had a heated argument. Kan was initially hesitant to forgive him, but when Book offered to take him to the mall's renowned aquarium, Kan quickly forgave him. Reenacting this scenario in acting class helped Kan get into the right frame of mind quickly.

After using the restroom, Kan stood for a few moments, looking in the mirror. He let out a long sigh, exhausted from the migraine that was beginning to affect him, which required extra effort just to stand up.

He reached out and turned on the faucet, spraying water on his face to refresh it. As the cool water caressed his face, the heavy feeling eased. As he looked up, the mirror reflected his soaked face. Before leaving the bathroom, he grabbed a tissue and wiped his face until it was not soaked.

"Go dunk your head in the toilet bowl," Book joked, noticing the other walking away with wet hair.

"Oh, stop it," Kan said, smiling slightly.

"Just kidding, come here," Book said, gesturing for the other to approach.

"Hmm?" Kan couldn't help but be inquisitive, so he moved closer.

"..."

Book said nothing, despite Kan's deliberate, perplexed expression, indicating that he did not understand what the other was attempting to accomplish. What was causing him to stare at him? What did this activity require of him? Many questions raced through the smaller one's mind, but before he could find a genuine answer, Book's massive hand touched Kan's face, causing his heart to race faster than usual.

Thump, thump, thump

Kan was perplexed as he got closer to Book, but he tried to keep it inside. What was Book doing with his classmates all around him? The taller one's fingertips delicately brushed Kan's cheek, causing a flush of heat to rise in his ears. Kan's heart rate gradually increased until Book's voice snapped him back into reality.

"Your face is covered with tissues. Didn't you glance in the mirror before getting out?"

Oh...

Kan felt a twinge in his heart right away because what happened was the opposite of what he expected. He laughed inwardly because he had overthought things. He had hoped that Book would do something nice with him. His own delusions made him feel embarrassed. Fortunately, the other person was unaware of his views. Otherwise, he would have been severely chastised.
