Since the drama between P' Puu and Kan, as well as Book, who secretly invited Pat to eat without first informing P' Puu. Worse, P' Puu misinterpreted the two of them because she assumed they were attempting to capitalize on Pat's popularity in order to become more well-known. This caused Kan and Book to repeatedly shake their heads. As a result, neither of them wanted to be involved with Pat longer.
They went there frequently to check on the messages that P' Puu had secretly placed on the X app. They were frequently exposed to inflammatory messages. This left them both unsure of how to defend themselves. Being poked in this way without being directly addressed agitated them, and any reaction was interpreted as being hot-headed again.
In fact, Book had lost interest for quite some time, just as he had told Kan not to bother with it because it was insane-making. Kan, on the other hand, was not that type of person because he wished to foster understanding among those around him. He preferred to make friends with everyone around him rather than argue with anyone. In reality, however, such a thing was unthinkable. And he did not need to keep appeasing or trying to make himself popular with everyone because it would exhaust him.
Because those people did not genuinely care about him...
Kan exited the X app and placed his phone on the table before getting up to wash the dishes from the previous night's dinner in the sink. His slim hand reached for the faucet and turned it on, allowing water to pour down onto the food-stained dishes in the wash basin. However, before the homeowner could take them up to clean, a cell phone rang. He did not seem to mind at first because, in general, not many people called him. He assumed the call was from one of the food delivery services he enjoyed using via the app.
But Kan became suspicious when the phone stopped vibrating after only a few seconds and was replaced by a swarm of Line notifications. He could not help but feel guilty for not recognizing him sooner. He quickly washed his hands, which were covered in dish soap foam, and wiped them on his jeans. He then went to the table where he had placed his phone.
"Kim, why are you calling?" Kan stared at the phone screen, which displayed the name of the missed call, which surprised him because it was not typical for someone like Kim to wake up and look around at this hour.
He picked up his phone to check his Line messages again after missing a call from a close friend. Because Kim's image was a screenshot from the X app of a gossip story about a certain BL series actor whose initials were 'P,' a look of curiosity was immediately given.
'During his high school years, the BL series actor, initial P, would frequently travel to Bangkok to meet men. After graduation, we never saw each other again. He had already established himself as a well-known actor by the time I saw him again. But why did he admit in the interview that he liked women? I am completely perplexed. In school, he was more promiscuous, changing men regardless of who they were.'
Kan was taken aback by the seriousness of the message. He had no idea who this BL actor with the initial P could be, because there are as many BL actors as mushrooms these days, with new faces appearing on a daily basis. He did not have time to consider who was who. He did not realize who the suspect in question was referring to until he saw Kim's next communication.
Kim: Is that Pat? Right, BL actor, beginning P? From everything I've read, I believe it's him.
Kim: Is he not interested in women?
Kan: Well...
Kan: But he likes women, doesn't he?
Kim: Who knows with something like this?
