CHAPTER 10 : Didn't we already talk about this?

It was another early morning that Kan had to wake up for because today was his first promotional event after the series started shooting. He was quite surprised because the response exceeded what he had expected, even though the series hadn't fully aired yet. He didn't think he would get the opportunity to attend an event like this since he was just a supporting actor. But fate must have taken pity on him, as some of the main actors couldn't make it today. So the opportunity came to him.

He hurried to shower, get dressed, and go downstairs to wait because his manager said she was on her way. And it wasn't long before the manager's car pulled up precisely on time in front of the house. He and his manager had anticipated this, which is why they left so early. Because the event's location today was at a shopping mall in the city center, if they didn't leave extra time, they could get stuck in terrible traffic.

Even though they left early, they still couldn't escape the hordes of cars full of people out and about on their day off. But at least traffic kept slowly moving rather than being at a complete standstill for hours

When Kan and his manager arrived, they immediately headed to the dressing room. They got a little lost at first since this was their first time here, even though Kan had called Jeab for directions and walked the path she told them. But in the end, they arrived at the dressing room on time.

"Hello!" Kan bowed his hands together and greeted everyone in the room as soon as he entered. Everyone turned and smiled back at him.

"Kan! Come sit here!" Jeab called out to him and grabbed his arm before walking him over to sit in front of the large mirror and bright lights.

"Hello," Kan bowed his hands to the makeup artist who was right there. They smiled at him before starting to do Kan's makeup and hair.

This was the first event where all the actors from the series got to appear together. So both they and the fans were exceptionally excited. Additionally, this event was also an awards ceremony. It was the first big event, making it even more special.

Kan sat getting his makeup done for a while. Book, Poom, and Sun later joined and didn't waste any time taking their seats so the stylists could do their makeup and hair as soon as they arrived. Kan only heard sounds of greetings but didn't look up because the makeup artist was applying eye shadow to his eyelids.

The event today was the first time all the actors from the story came together for an event. So it made both them and the fans exceptionally excited. Moreover, this event was an awards ceremony as well. It was the first big event, which made it even more special.

After Kan finished getting makeup, He came to eat some food with Poom, and Book and Sun came to join. Both of them brought food that they had bought and sat down to invite Poom and Kan to try what they had bought too. There was a lot of Japanese food because Book liked to eat it, while Sun focused more on fried chicken. Which turned out to be a good thing that helped Kan have something to alleviate the spiciness. That stir-fried minced pork, which he thought was spicy enough to tolerate at first, gradually became spicier the more he ate it.

"Kids, are you done eating yet?" Jeab walked in and asked after some time had passed.

"Done," Book answered on everyone's behalf. He then grabbed all the empty boxes they had finished the contents of and threw them in the trash. A nearby staff member was nearly startled and had to run over and tell them to just leave them there and the staff would take care of throwing them away themselves.

"Go change your clothes right now. It's almost time for the event to start," Jeab said and then walked away, leaving another junior staff member to take care of and guide the actors to get changed.
