Kaminari was fidgeting all throughout homeroom. He didn't know why, but he just felt dread. He could see his classmates glancing at him from the corner of his eyes. He didn't know if it was because some of them were scared of him now or if they were glad that he was back.

He jumped when the bell rang signaling that homeroom was over and to start heading to the next class. Nobody in his class moved for a few seconds. When he moved, then everyone moved. Kaminari was confused because only the Bakusquad made their way over to him while everyone else formed a barrier around them.

"How are you?" Kirishima asked as they left the room still in the formation. "I'm okay," Kaminari said slowly, trying to understand what was happening. Kirishima nodded and turned to Mina and Sero and started a conversation. Kaminari was so wrapped up in his head that he didn't notice when they made it to class.

He almost walked into the back of somebody, who had stopped to open the door. Kaminari walked to his seat in class as everyone besides the Bakusquad went to theirs. His 'friends' congregated at his desk and were there until the bell rang for the start of class.

The rest of the morning went like this. Kaminari didn't pay attention to class and his classmates acted like they were bodyguards. He was out of his mind until lunch. He walked with the Bakusquad to their table, but he didn't grab anything to eat. Sero noticed and put an apple in front of him.

Kaminari wanted to deny it, but from the look on Sero's face that wasn't happening, so instead Kaminari nodded his head in appreciation and took a bite out of the apple. Kaminari didn't pay attention to any of the conversations that were happening around him, even when his 'friends' tried to include him.

Kaminari only snapped to attention when Kirishima wrapped his arm around his shoulder. He flinched so much that Kirishima instantly pulled his arm away. Kirishima muttered an apology, to which Kamianri said there was no need to apologize. "It's fine, I just wasn't paying attention," Kaminari said.

Kirishima hesitantly put his arm around Kaminari's shoulder again. This time Kaminari didn't flinch, but he did tense. He relaxed once he realized Kirishima wasn't going to hurt him. He went back to staring at his cast that were on the table now. He was so out of it that he didn't realize that Sero had directed a question towards him.

"Hm," Kaminari said. "Oh, I was wondering if I would be able to sign your cast?" Sero asked. "What do you mean?" Kaminari asked, confused as to what Sero was getting at. "Could I sign my name or put a quote on your cast?" Sero explained. "Yea, but what would you use? I don't have any markers or pens on me," Kaminari asked.

"I have a black Sharpie on me," Mina said, as she went through her backpack to find it. Kaminari put his cast on the table, so Sero could reach it. "Aha," Mina said as she pulled out the marker and handed it to Sero. "Ooh, can I sign it next?" she asked. Kaminari nodded, so Kirishima asked, "Can I as well?" Kaminari nodded his head.

So, Sero sighed his name and passed the marker to Mina, who signed her name and added a smiley face. 😀 She then passed the marker to Kirishima who signed his name and wrote down, "you're so manly" and he put an arm with some muscle on it. 💪 He then passed the marker to Bakugou, who scoffed, but grabbed it anyway.

He signed his name in a Bakugou kind of way and surrounded it with explosions. 💥 He passed it back to Mina. "Can I add something?" Sero asked, so Kaminari nodded. He then grabbed the marker from Mina and surrounded his name with spiderwebs. 🕸️

Sero passed the marker to Mina, who put it back in her bag. Kaminari admired his cast. It wasn't just something that was a weakness. It was special now. It had something special about each of his friends. He would have Kamui ass something to it when he got ho-

Kaminari's mood immediately dropped, remembering where Kamui was. He hoped he would be awake when Kaminari visited him later. He heard the intercom crackle to life. Denki Kaminari, please make your way to the principal's office immediately. I repeat. Denki Kaminari make your way to the principal's office immediately.

The feeling of dread immediately settled in Kaminari's stomach. He saw the concerned faces of his friends and said, "I'll be back in just a moment." "Nope, we're coming with you. We don't want a repeat of last time," Sero and Mina said, and Kirishima nodded his head. Bakugou mumbled something along the lines of 'if I have to'

Kaminari sighed, knowing that nothing would change their minds. He got up and made his way to Nedzu's office with his friends following. They were silent the whole way over. They made it to Nedzu's office and Kaminari knocked on the door. "Come in," a voice on the side called.

Kaminari pushed open the door and walked in. He saw Nedzu's and Aizawa at the desk. Kaminari nervously made his way over with Kirishima at his side, offering silent support. "Hello Nedzu sensei, Aizawa sensei, why was I called here? Am I in trouble?" Kaminari asked. Nedzu' shook his head, "No, but we have bad news."

Kaminari swallowed nervously, and grabbed onto Kirishima, "What is it?" Aizawa sighed and moved to stand in front of Kaminari, "It's about Kamui." "What is it?! Is he okay!?" Kaminari practically shouted and Aizawa sighed once more, "He's slipped into a coma. The doctor's don't know if or when he will wake up."

Kaminari felt his heart shatter. He couldn't stop the tears that started falling. He let go of Kirishima and ran towards the door. He was about to open it when he was grabbed from behind. He smelled carmel and knew who it was immediately. He knew there was no way he would be able to fight his way out, so he gave in.

He slumped and Bakugou spun him around and wrapped him in a hug. Bakugou rested his chin on Kaminari's head. Kaminari pulled his head away, looked to Aizawa and said, "Can I go see him?" Aizawa nodded, "That was the plan. I was going to drive you over. Are you guys going to come along as well?" he asked towards the Bakusquad.

They all immediately agreed. Soon enough, they were piled in Aizawa's car and heading to the hospital. Kaminari nervously bounced his leg up and down. He was looking out the window and the clouds that turned stormy, which fit his mood pretty well right now. In what felt like seconds they were in front of the hospital.

Kaminari immediately hopped out of the car before Aizawa fully stopped. He rolled to cushion his fall and kept running to the hospital entrance. He heard his friends trying to tell him to stop, but he didn't listen. He gained a few concerned and weird looks from the people he passed in the halls.

He ran to the same room Kamui was in last time. He stopped outside the door to catch his breath before entering the room. He then opened the door and entered the room. Kamui looked the same as he did last time. Small. Kaminari made his way over to the chair, sat down, and laid his head on the bed.

He took Kamui's hand in his good one and put it on, so that he could always feel his pulse. His pulse was a little quick, but nothing life threatening. He was paler than the last time Kaminari was here. Kaminari hid his face in the bed and cried.
