“I was not there, I promise you I wasn’t” I begged but his eyes remained cold, he didn't react or anything.

“Stop trying to fool me, Becky. You were there, you saw him die, begging for mercy. You didn’t give a damn did you? you let him die, watched your fellow Galas take life from him” He slapped me hard across the face, I staggered back but managed to regain my balance again. The wind whistled in the trees reminding me that I was here  alone, with him. If I could not convince him that I was innocent, then he would kill me. He will not hesitate, I knew that better than anything. And killing me, will be easy. Too easy. After all he was way too strong. Stronger than me.

“I mean it Grey, I am not lying to you I wasn’t there. I don’t know what happened either, believe me"

“You have played with my mind enough Becky, and it is your time to beg me too just the way my brother did” he drew his sword charging towards me “time to die Becky” a chilling laughter echoed from him. I trembled as his dark eyes bore holes into my soul, a devilish smirk making him look like a psychopath.
I was...
“GREEEEY!!!” I screamed as his sword sank into my flesh. Blood spattered on the dirty forest floor. Pain twisted through my entire being violently. He twisted the sword, making my entire gut a mess. I raised my eyes to his, looking for mercy, or remorse or a little regret.
There was none of that, he was happy and satisfied! He lifted his leg and kicked me off the side of the cliff.
I watched him as gravity took over, swallowing me into the abyss. He watched with satisfaction and relief. He finally did what he always wanted to do!
I sat up in bed, Ari was beside me with a small basin and white towel in hand. The room was bright, we were only the two of us. I began crying and she took me into her arms rubbing my back.
“It is okay, just a bad dream” I held onto her for a while crying the fear off my system. I sank back in bed after a while feeling very stupid, just a bad dream I convinced myself trying to sleep again.

But then, I saw Ari carrying a blood stained forked arrow. Her sky blue dress was stained in blood and she had a deadly grin on her face.

“Now it is your turn Becky." Her voice low and cold "What did you think? that I don’t know you are trying to take my man away from me?” she was angry, very angry!
“What are you saying?” I asked confused, and surprised.
Then Addy emerged from the back stubbing my thigh with a sharp dagger, I screeched in pain.
“Oh silly, you are from those so called vamp hunters. You came here convincing my brother so hard on how to be a good leader. That seat is meant to be mine and what you don’t know is, I am the one who gave the real Dermot away to the Gala” she sat at the edge of the bed “wanna know the story?" She smirked "I simply had to lie to the fool that I knew where the Gala were and they were ready to sign a peace agreement with us. Of course he didn’t believe me, I told him that I had spoken to Grey and that he was too busy to go and so I was to find someone to go in his place. I told him he was the best choice I had. He went then ended up dead. I eliminated him so that’s when I have killed Grey he won’t take over” she paused smiling at me “what I did next was to eliminate Regina, she meant everything to Grey, so without her he was close to nothing and so …a good torture in front of Grey was enough. She was gone too"  She smiled at me getting off the bed and walking towards the closet leaning against it.
“Then …” she continued “all I was left with was to eliminate Grey himself. That is when Ari told me that she was so much in love with him and so I should simply weaken him and let her have his man. I agreed but sadly a young female Gala warrior killed my mate when he was out hunting. It was so breaking, I out a  paused to  my plan for a while. Then you showed up trying to build his strength back. Showing him so much concern that he likes you now and you are becoming his strength"
“No… Grey… he does not like me at all” I defended myself
“You don’t? He doesn’t? What a joke, how many fucking times have you kissed?” Ari spat.
“I…I…”
“Keep your mouth shut!" her erupted like an active volcano. "and it is time for you to follow him. He is already waiting for you there” Ari cut in angrily.
“No… no he can’t be dead he can’t be…”
“I am  sorry, but he is!” Ari spat sinking the forked arrow into my chest.
