Dominic, Ethan, Harvey, Abigail, Alan, Jason Han, Lisa, Arthur, Clark, Xavier,Roy,Curl, Harrison, Aimee, Adelyn, Flora, Grey and I were seventeen including other twenty six men chosen by Grey to walk into the lion's den fearlessly. Making us forty five in total.
As we stood outside the Gala warriors camp a hundred metres away, we knew this was a matter of life and death. With our scents hidden by Flora's crazy spell and the night moonless and starless we prayed that luck will be in our favor.
We stood there, like warriors, our hearts beating erratically but wearing the gowns if courage.
"We come back alive! Kill now, question tomorrow" Grey instructed.
We nodded and stepped forward.

*****
I walked around the camp, hiding in the shadows of the trees. My blade was noe hungry for blood, I was now keeping the good me a bay and walking forward like a wild animal ready for a blood birth.
I circled the camp with a few men in my company taking a different route. I asked Grey to take a different route for our sake. I wouldn't focus with us around each other and it was better if we worked separately.
I crept behind the first Gala who caught my eyes. Pulling out the two daggers from the bands of my trousers, I covered his mouth from the back and slit his stomach open making sure the blade went through to the very back. He crumbled to the ground dead. I continued with the same strategy, sealing the mouth and making a kill.
As I kept on I remember the last talk we had before coming...
..... "If you get overwhelmed, send a signal. We will send back up. Once the six hundred are down also send a signal, we will come help you finish the task. If you fail, come back. This will always be our home!"
Antonio announced to everyone, Grey held my hand.
"We will stick together, right?"
"Not a good idea. We need to focus"
"I knew you would say that, just summon me if you need help"
"I will do that"
I pulled him away from the others who were talking to their most important people before we left.
I slit my finger with the dagger "lower your head"
He furrowed his brows but obeyed, I dropped the blood on his forehead and cast a spell. He staggered backwards his eyes turning blood red
"What was that?"
"A spell, it will improve your senses for at least twenty four hours. After that you are on your own if I don't get a chance to renew the spell. Be careful!"
"Goodness, you worry too much"
"I know how bad your senses can be!" I said come on....
.... I dodged behind a tree when I spotted a figure looming over the dead man I had just killed. He looked confused, what a slow thinker!
I threw my dagger at him, it went through his back out through his stomach.
The man collapsed to the ground, I walked over drawing my sword and tearing him up into halves.
I collected the bloodstained dagger tucking it in place.
My ears picked a young heart beat. I spotted a kid watching me in terror.
A kid?!
"What are you looking at?"
"A man eater!!" The boy yelled running off to the opposite direction. Trouble was here, I went after the kid, but he disappeared somewhere and I couldn't trace him. I searched around but he was gone. I turned back, and there it was. The kind of situation I was avoiding!
"Are you a vampire?"
"I have no time to answer questions!" I charged forward sinking my sword into the man's stomach and pulled it out. I kicked him off and the other six men started to attack. It was no lie, this men were skilled. The only issues or advantage is that they were slow thinkers. I split their guts and smashed their bellies open. I squeezed and sliced the filthy parasites they harboured into tiny pieces.
I kept moving, I saw the kid again, watching me!
"What the heck?!"
The kid laughed and ran off again. This was becoming very irritating. I will kill that little creature, I went after the kid. Bumping into one of my men on the way.
"Are you okay?"
"They need help madam"
I furrowed my brows, narrowing my eyes at him.
"How comes you are here? While the others are in there?"
"I... I came to find you!"
"I hate liars the most!"
I swung my sword, it went through his neck separating his head from his body. I tore his belly open tearing off the little parasite in him and stumped it under my feet.
"You lied, came with us so you can inform David about our secret attack? You must be sick in the head!" I spat at his withered body and decided to leave."
A short axe flew last my head hitting the tree behind me. I dodged in time but made a cut on my cheeks.
My eyes pierced into the dark, five figures stood up ahead.
I reached for the sword , crept around. I got closer to the men and flung at them. Moving in a petrifying speed I slit their stomachs open sending my blade through the stomach content and sped off immediately.
There were a bunch of shadows after me, they had found out. I ran as fast as I could into the main camp spotting my men at an instance.
One of them was surrounded by around thirty minions. Shifting into my avatar quickly, I ran around them like lighting sinking my claws into their bellies. Tearing up their guts, squeezing life out of the little parasites. The man was confused when the last man fell down in the pile. My hands, face and clothes were covers in dark blood.
"Are you OK?" I asked the man in daze.
"I... I...
"You better be!"
I sped off , feeling the wild excitement of wanting to smear blood and split this minions apart. And I had the fun of doing so. Their brains were working like those of toddlers. Too slow to my advantage. Heads rolled, guts spilled and it was fun seeing the little parasites lie in cold blood dead and forgotten. The whole camp was filled with the sick stench of the parasites.
I walked through the last part of the camp. Three of my men were handling ten of them. I joined them, swinging my sword around and slicing their bodies into halves. They toppled onto the floor one after the other. The three men killed the other five.
"Thanks for your help"
"No need, how many of us came here?"
"Fifteen"
"Count it as fourteen, one of them was a minion. I killed him"
"Let's look around, there might be something useful in their belongings!"
We ransacked through their little belongings that were nothing important. Papers and papers filled with instructions on war strategy and other martial arts.
"Nothing useful " they reported
"I found this!" One of them rushed over holding a jar full of a green slimy liquid.
"Let me see!"
I inspected the jar closely.
"It must be what they feed the parasites!" I placed the jar on the crooked wooden table.
"We are done" other six of our members joined us.
"Where are the rest?"
"Dead!"
"And their bodies?"
"At the border, outside the camp. We secured them from wild animals"
"Good are we certain we have destroyed three hundred of them?"
"I think this camp had less minions, I think two hundred of them. They were also very weak!"
"Alright, we are burning everything in here"
I closed my eyes casting a spell on the camp. A small fire started at the perimeter of the camp.
"Hold your neighbor's hand. We're teleporting!"
The next moment we were standing outside the camp watching the flames eat it slowly.
"Will David see the fire and come at us?" One of them asked.
"He's a slow thinker even if he is smart man. He's probably concentrating on turning Regina thinking it's me. "
"Will she be alright?"
"She will be, the first dose is with me. The second dose will not work without the first. Besides she is strong"
"I wish this ends soon, I hate war!"
"We all do, we should go help the others" we set off to the next camp where Grey and the others were. Flora and few others had gone to set traps in the third camp.
We rushed out to help them, it was already midnight. If we destroyed the two camps before dawn and at least half of the third camp. It would be much easier for us to handle the rest in broad daylight.
As soon as we arrived, the others rushed in to help. I kept my eyes at the border watching the fight. Dom was a beast, his huge body was working to his advantage. Ethan was always playful and so he was at fighting he was basically having fun splitting their organs and spilling their blood all over the place.
I joined the fight, keeping an eye on the border so no one escaped. The sound of war was terrifying and threatening but we kept on. We were not doing wrong, we were only protecting our kind. Protecting Elia, Arianna and the others who did not have to see death. It was not a choice to be born a vampire, it was just finding yourself born as something and there is no way out of it.
I didn't plan to be part of this either, but I already was part of it. I wouldn't be cowardly and run. I will fight for my mom, my friends... My mate and my son.
I got a shoulder injury when I was facing the eleventh man, this one's were getting stronger and were a little more agile than the previous ones .
I sent my blade through the flesh of the man in anger, the injury stang like bees. I retrieved my sword panting from the searing pain tearing through my nerves. I sliced the man's stomach pinning the little creature into the dirt with my sword. I staggered backwards, retracting into the shadows. I wouldn't feel pain this much normally. Was it them or it was something else?
I sat on the snowy earth panting, this one's were too strong and at that too many.
I waited a few minutes before the wound healed then I got onto my feet and continued with the fight. Grey was beastly, I avoided him at all cost. He should not see me or he will turn from being a beast to a teenage boys. He used his claws freely and his agility was pretty good.
I turned away but then I spotted two other minions creeping towards him. I extracted my daggers ready to make a kill but he was on time. He swung his claws around sending the two minions flying in air before he dipped his hands into their stomachs tearing their guts into pieces.
Seems, like you don't need my help.
