CHAPTER 12: WHEN ENEMIES SACRIFICE FOR ONE ANOTHER, WHAT IS IT CALLED?

I sat up in bed, my body bathed in sweat. My heart was beating so fast that I thought it would break free from the ribs that were holding it back from popping out. I stepped out bed and walked to the mirror, I could see the Becky to come and take my place in there. She would help Regina get back and heal Grey's wounds then I will be back to my normal human life after all. I was tempted to go into Regina's piano room to get my mind back to the right place, and so I did. I sat on the bench closed my eyes and ran my fingers across the piano keys then played the tune I always played when I felt like victory was coming soon. I played it repeatedly till my fingers hurt. I stopped and rose to my feet ready to sneak back to the room before Grey found me where he forbid me from entering. I was just about to step out when he called me, he was sitting on the bench staring at me. I turned around my heart already giving me a warning knock. I swallowed a bitter lamp of saliva recalling how he had chocked me the previous time.

"Come back here" he demanded coldly

I walked towards him shaking and trembling badly, my knees were weak and buckling. I got to him and my throat went dry.

"I told you never to come in here, you did. Are you testing my patience?" I couldn't hear the disappointment or anger in his voice but I knew he was.

"No...I was...I was just...

"Come sit here" he tapped his laps, I gave him a weird look but he was not at all ready to back off from his demands. I took careful steps towards him till I was only an inch away. I stared at him, he grinned and pulled me onto his laps. My heart stopped.

"When I tell you to do something, you don't make me force you do it" he said under clenched teeth. "Now, I want you to play what you were playing before I send you to the torture chambers this very moment"

I nodded nervously placing my trembling fingers on the keys, I began playing but got stuck on the way. I dropped my hands on my bare laps.

"I can't do it Grey!" I admitted getting up and moving away from him "I can't do it"

"You were doing it so well before why you cannot do it right now?" he asked getting up and reaching for me. He made me sit on the piano "You are always testing my patience, and at times I can't control my anger. Worse, I could hurt you so badly which I don't think I like. I can't get you out of my sight you will either be killed and I will never be able to save you from that" he cupped my face with one hand and stared into my eyes as if looking for something in them.

"Grey am sorry, but I can't be able to hold back the urge of playing the piano at all" I said helplessly looking at his handsome face.

"Why can't you play when am here if you are not up to something crazy" he asked looking at me intently.

"Because...because...

"Because of what?"

"Because of this" I took both of his hands and placed them on the sides of my head and held my eyes with his. Slowly he read every single thing Regina had told me in the dream from my mind. Once he was done, he quickly stepped away from me and faced the other way

"This can't be" he said more to himself than me.

"I think now am free to go, your Becky is coming. She will come and be your love help you out from your problems. She will be a strong and skilled warrior not a scared idiot like me. She will be smart, and will bring Regina back to her mate" I paused "it is such a coincidence that your mates name is Becky and has a father by the name David as well. I think this is fate, I only had to confirm that vampires are real and some are kind while others are very dangerous. So when are you going to get me back to the city and try picking up from where I left. Sadly, I lost my parents in the process of having some adventure in my little life. I will miss this though, being treated like am on vacation with some threats here and there..."
