CHAPTER 66:CROWNS COVEN

Years ago, in the Flakes coven. There was a human girl who was turned into a vampire on her wedding night. Her mate was an eager man, he didn't think. He just wanted to be with her for a lifetime and never let her go. So they were happy until was broke out among the witches and vampires. She had not healed and it hit her hard when she saw the man he loved died in front of him. She went berserk, she handled a hundred troops of humans and witches and rogue vampires on her own then she killed herself at the end.
"The world without half of my soul is too empty, I will find you in darkness. If not I will die a thousand times if it is the price I should pay!"
"Those were her last words?"
"Yes they were" a man answered
Grey sighed and I could tell he was digging through his hair.
"I should get going now, look after that miss. She is like a ticking bombshell. The old man is shaken, he has not left his room!"
"I will come see him later. Thank you for coming"
The door opened and shut and the edge of the bed sunk. I opened my eyes, looking at Grey.
"Who was that?"
"Don't play wife!"
"What?"
"Are you stalking me even on your sick bed?"
I laughed sarcastically "as if you would let me!"
"How did you get here?"
"I ran here" I answered proudly sitting up.
"Miles, I see!"
"I rode a bike " I said pulling off the covers "I need to use the bathrooms " I said.
Grey smirked conspiratorially. I looked at my night gown, it was as thin as paper to add to that everything beneath was clear to his eyes.
"What a pervert"
"Am I?"
I rolled my eyes at him "where are the bathrooms am not used to ancient looking houses and rooms."
"Right ahead, then turn left"
I went ahead and used the bathrooms before going back to the room. A table had been set a light breakfast, I smirked.
"I don't need food anymore!"
"Are you serious?" He asked raising a brow at me.
"Just a little, I ate nothing the whole of yesterday!" I answered sitting down on the small sofa stool.
"Why did you collapse?" He raised a brow at me squinting his eyes. I laughed at the look on his face.
"You look hilarious "
"Do I ?" He asked picking a berry from the basket beside the bed and ate it.
"I didn't know you can eat"
"I can't eat in public, no one else should know what I am. I am halves, I can handle stuff "
"Some day they'll find out right? Nothing is a forever secret in this world " I said sipping the cup of tea.
"So tell me"
"Walls have ears, this should be private. I don't want anyone else to find out"
"How dark is your secret?"
"Darker than the night sky!" I sounded hyperbolic.
"And now? How are you feeling?"
"Am alright, because you're here with me "
"Don't flirt with me, things might get pretty steamy" he warned with a devilish grin.
"Am being honest you know!"
"Don't be too honest with me"
"I can't help it, you are too good to ignore!"
"That will be a misuse of words. Calling me good" he narrowed his eyes at me leaning forward. I leaned forward holding his gaze.
"Don't cut your hair"
"Why?"
"You look yummy with long hair"
"How yummy?"
I smiled and cast a silent spell to clear the table. He grinned knowingly.
"Naughty girl!"
"I am naughtier than this" i got on the table grabbing the collars of his shirt and pulling him closer seductively. His eyes slowly reddened and he now was looking at me like a predator intimidating it's prey.
I leaned forward, breathing in sharply and tilted my head. His eyes held mine, I got closer a breathe away and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear.
"That one was misplaced" I said and walked off .
He sighed loudly and I giggled.
"What is with the sighing?" I asked sipping the cup of tea.
"What was that? How could you...
"Speak clearly I don't understand what you are saying...
"Becky you...
I looked at him innocently as if I had done nothing. He shook his head in disbelief. That is the punishment of leaving me and making me want you so desperately.
"Who was the old bastard who was trying to attack you?" I inquired throwing him off the edge. He shot daggers at me with his eyes, I dodged them all and he gave up on it.
"Archibald Darwin"
"Your dad? What a coward!"
"A coward?"
"Only cowards attack from behind, he is definitely one!"
"He's the king, and my step brothers won't spare you. They are enraged, they see him as a god"
"How many?"
"Four, one sister, the others are in Spain "
"How many wives did your dad have?"
"Five "
"Five? All those? And how many kids?"
"We're thirteen in total, if you add Dermot. I am only close to one right now because Dermot is gone!"
I sympathised with him but I wouldn't show it. He can't go back to that grieving teen he was.
"He must be a good guy if you are close to him, what is his name?"
"Dexter, he's Dermot's biological brother and the girl Scarlett is their sister."
"I could tell it was definitely Dermot's brother "
"How so "
I sunk back on the seat and sighed.
"His mom took care of you when your mom had to leave, you four must definitely be close. And Dermot seemed like a good guy, he's definitely a good big brother."
He smiled eating another grape.
"We're like a family am her third son. She seems to be the only one who is happy to have me around here!"
"Are you the black sheep in the family?"
"I think I am, cause anyway am the kid papa hates the most. So I am definitely the black sheep " he responded as he kept eating the grapes.
"How does the Crowns coven look like?"
"It is pretty, ancient and modern touch. It is the prettiest and the only coven that can be accessed by humans "
"How do?"
"To humans it is an ancient castle of a rich politician that he uses often but not much. So it is painted as a private land of some rich guy. Most of the royal family members interact with humans a lot,some live among them... especially the vegetarians!"
Oh, so that was it?
"And the other covens?"
"Managing a large number out there is pretty hard, so we prefer having them in covens. But... I have a feeling that will be over soon " he sounded a bit exhilarated as he sunk into deep thoughts.
"Why so? The non vegetarians will not be able to live with the humans right?"
"Triple M is working on that, he has his hands in the government and a lot of stuff. With technology am sure there will be a way vampires can live with humans and even walk in broad daylight "

It would be a path of having some hot teen romance between a vampire and a human girl. Wow like some fictional stories where a guy finds out his mate is a human, there will be a bunch of hot dudes in high schools.
"So what was the huge secret you were to tell me?"
"Got a study room?"
"There is one at the end of the hallway, I renovated mine into a walk in closet "
"What a spoilt brat you were"
"Let me borrow your clothes, I brought none with me"
I went into the closet and changed into his sweatpants and shirt. Thanks goodness the pants had straps or else it would have already fallen off. I put on the indoor slippers and went back to the room. I followed him to the study, we sat down in the spacious room and locked the door.
"So, I... Revived Regina!"
He froze, his face was as cold as ice and his deep green eyes looked dead!
"What?"
"Yeah, I thought it would be good to have her around and I was to do it in the end anyway. I was not sure if I would be able to do it. I was taking my chances and it worked!"
