CHAPTER 76: THE UNTOLD STORY

"You guys are no fun!" The female said sighing heavily. She lifted her hands dramatically, shaking the brown mass of hair off her face. My jaw dropped.
"Hey, Davis did you miss me?" She raised a brow at the chatty guard who collapsed immediately she looked at me and shrugged "he has a weak heart"
"Regina?!"
Abi who had just arrived exclaimed out loud, a few others followed watching Regina as if she was an enigma. I was the only one who was not fazed by her presence.
"Hello... Is this how you welcome me back?" She asked dropping her hand to her waist then folding them on her chest.
"This must be sorcery!" Xavier exclaimed "kill that imposter!"
The guards were about to take action but I stepped forward.
"Don't, it is Regina White!"
"Are you sure, Becky?"
"Yes, she is the one."
I answered pushing Regina behind me protectively.
She chuckled at my action "what a protective sweetheart you are" she spoke proudly "you have influenced them with a short stay. I can't imagine if you were here from the start. I bet you'd be the queen"
"You talk too much" I glared at her. She laughed dramatically patting my head, I slapped her hand off. We were not that close, were we?
"I forgot you are the big sister, but you are an inch shorter. I could not help it, you have a cute height"
"What are you saying?"
"Am here to stay kiddo, can you show me your room. I want to take a bath first. The cabin was so dusty, you didn't even cover me with a quilt before you left"
"You don't need it"
"Savage" she flipped her hair, "lead the way... Becky!"
"What is going on with you two? What quilt? You have met before?" Megan asked in confusing.
"We've met thrice" Regina buttered carelessly "she's such a darling"
"You speak as if you are into me" I glared at her from head to toe.
She laughed dramatically "who wouldn't have a crush on you? With that beauty and big heart... Absolutely no one can resist your charm"
I rolled my eyes "follow me if you still want to bathe"
"Wait guys, like what is going on. We need some tea over here... Hello"
"I will come back and explain everything. Let me take her to clean up first"
Xavier scratched his neck impatiently. I took Regina to my room, she looked around and hummed.
"Dermot's scent still lingers here. "
"Was he your crush?"
She laughed mockingly "Dermot? He was a love repellant, a times I thought he was in for celibacy"
"What! Celibacy?"
"The kid never had the urge to get in any woman's pants. He was all good guy kind of person. He lived a boring life "
"Are you a slut?"
"Not really, but I have fucked a few men around here"
What?!
And she actually thought that was cool, she said it out loud and proudly. She got rid of her dress and walked into the bathroom butt naked. The shower was on for a long time. I sat in the bed waiting for her to finish cleaning up. In the moment, u thought if her arrival, she was definitely a higher ranked vampire. Her fighting skill were almost similar to Chinese Kung Fu, she was so good at it. And she was strong,  highlight that.
Well things were happening pretty quickly today. One moment I find out the legendary princess is my mom and the next minute it us Regina coming in a creepy and uninvited manner into the coven. Wild !
Wait...
...I forgot you are the big sister...
What did she mean by that? Could it be?
No, I wouldn't be dumb to that extent. That is a little too much.
"Regina...
"Hello " she stepped out of the bathroom dressed in a bathrobe.
"Could you be kind enough to lend me your garments? I would appreciate your kindness if you consider that act of humanity for my sake. I would like to cover my nakedness in a much descent and less tempting manner "
"Wait a minute... Did you hit your head in the bathroom?"
"Absolutely no my beloved. I wouldn't allow my precious heat to hit the concrete or the tiles even if no harm would come over me. I am very careful with my safety."
I looked at her in a strange way, was all the the lengthy speech necessary? She would have just said no.
Ignoring her stupid grin, I went to the closet and picked a few of my clothes for her to wear. She shamelessly dressed in front of me and even demanded I dry my hair for her.
"Thank you, bug sister " she flipped her long hair and borrowed my Snickers.
"Sister? I am not to your sister!"
She chuckled and shrugged.
"What a painful rejection, you can't disown me like that... Anyway it doesn't hurt as long as no facts are tampered with "
"Regina...
"You got a sweet ascent dear, that 'r' rolls out perfectly"
"Are you a psycho?"
She took a step closer staring down at me. She grabbed my chin checking out my face, I slapped her hand off.
"What are you doing?"
"Grey fell hard, didn't he?"
"What?"
"You are a piece of cake my dear, and definitely his cup of tea "
"Be a little formal with me, we are strangers "
"We are not!" She said firmly tilting her head intimidatingly "we have never been, I know this will break your heart, but you are civilized. Aren't you?"
"What are you talking about?"
She was about to say something when a bang sounded at the door.
"Oops, seems like I will not be the one to spill the beans"
"What?"
"There is a meeting right away, please show up at the council room right away!"
We hurried out of the room, Regina walked sluggishly behind me. I followed the guard into the council room where everyone had already settled down. Grey beckoned me to hurry and sit beside him on the high table. I obeyed and Regina followed me to sit on the other seat beside me. Murmurs erupted in the room on seeing her. Grey glanced at her and he was somewhat relieved, happy or something like that.
I had no time to read his emotions into specifics because I was curious to find out what was the meeting about. There was silence after the loud murmurs.
Then the silence was mixed with a tense atmosphere. A beautiful woman walked in the room, she walked elegantly, her head high and confident. The long red dress she was wearing dragged behind her as if it was a wedding gown. Her dress was complicated with the long red cloak. Her face was concealed behind the white mask. Everyone watched as she walked to the front and turned around like a queen to face everyone.
Her eyes fell on me for a second then shifted to Regina and Grey.
Then her eyes swept around the council room as if marking every single face present. When she was satisfied with her survey, she lifted her hand to remove the mask. My Heart gave a loud thud and I was suddenly overwhelmed and nervous. I watched her intently waiting eagerly to see what was behind that mask.
When it finally fell to the ground and she lifted her face. The room was filled with gasps and I was frozen, staring at the familiar face I thought I would never be able to see again in my life. Tears gathered in my eyes and the name I thought I would never call subconsciously rolled out of my mouth.
"Mom!"
The lady I thought was gone for good shifted her kind eyes to me. I can't remember how or when I got out of my seat and jumped into the arms of the woman who mothered me. I was a crying mess, and I didn't care. I buried my face in her bosoms and cried my eyes out. I didn't know I missed her this much, until she stood in front of me. Smiling at me like she often did. And like a flood, the memories we made together overwhelmed me and I wept even more. She held me firmly and let me wet her clothes made out of fine and expensive linen.
