I don't know if it's lucky or not; seeing the love of your life fight before you. Adimah with Jhallen, Ellariz, Anie and Rica took number one. Well, with Sir Atralca before, I didn't think of it 'coz I know she's safe no matter what happen but this time, it's just way too different. Let's just hope for the best.

Their group left the bleachers and went to the basketball court sized space in the middle of the gym with only little reactions from us but from the other section, their group 1 emerges with loud cheers from them. Ooh. I find it awkward. Haha.

I got a little complacent to Adimah's battle, they're fighting some former classmates. Aeira Laniga and her big tall chubby boyfriend, the super average girl Lieze Intoc, boy-made-girl Melyn Trolix and Jaray said, the other short but white in complexion cool lady is their former HS classmate, Lyssa Calbar. Cool team.

"Clarice, do you think they'll gonna be ok?" I asked the tensed Goddess, "I mean, will they win? What are the chances that they'll lose?"

"Oh Elly, stop being a stage mom. Ellariz and Anie are powerful. I know. I've seen them fight during our HS days." Clarice replied, "You should worry more about our team and especially Nicolei, the final pageant is next week and if she got injured, she may get disqualified in the pageant."

Oh right. Nic's another battle after this. Wew. It's probably hard for her. But first things first, Adimah- be safe.

The two teams gathered in the middle of the court and had some exchanges of goodlucks, Jhalenn's friendly aura is still radiating though after that short moment, she instantly changed into serious mode.

At the basketball timer, the countdown begins... three... two... one... and BAAM! Aeira's group scattered like they're wearing roller blades under their feets and jetpacks stuck on their backs. That was quick!

Right, I got it. Aeira's using her ability to push everyone around in racing speed leaving the surprised Adimah's group in their combat positions. Forming a small circle in the middle, Adimah's group eyed each of their opponents. Attacks may come from any direction and with these fast opponents, defense should be tight.

Then the floor erupted and formed fissures, wait... those are giant blade cuts on the cements! Oh dear. Aeira's boyfriend's slashing the air and as a Sylph and someone who manipulates air pressure, I feel strong gusts of wind like sharp blades tearing the floor apart. I just wish he'll never try a direct attack to my Adimah, I mean to her group or else, I don't know what I will feel, do and say.

Dirt and dusts flew around enveloping everyone in thin smoke-like cloud of dust. Then at opposite sides of the court, Melyn and Lieze suddenly stopped and touched the slabs of ground which then erupted into human-sized earth spikes and rods slithering towards the still standing group of Adimah.

We were full of oohhss and ahhhs and oh No's... I see Ms. Sacanova standing somewhere on the other side of the court, her hands clasped together and eyes shut in prayers. Seriously? Well, it's probably the best time to pray.

Meters before the combination of spikes and rods hit them, Aeira's big-big boyfriend appeared above them and, if nightmares do come true, he sent blades of wind towards their heads!!!

Oh please! Stop me! Someone hold me to my seat! I was standing already when suddenly a blinding flash hit my eyes like a thousand sparklers exploded at the same time and when I regain my sight, a thick wall of fire with crackling lightning bolts stood like a thick pillar covering the five of them. Some earth spikes and rod flew towards the benches and as I examine myself, there's a foot-long pointed earth resting between my feet. I should be dead.
