I lead them there.

SooooO... I’ve been preoccupied for so long and didn’t know where to start. SO yeah, Alvis’ village was burnt to nothing and the place is like a barren charcoal wasteland; no traces of life, just burnt woods and ashes.

“I went there, though I just stayed several meters and a few feet crouching under branches so they won’t see me.” Jaray told me.

He said that there’s no sign of Nai or Alvis and the place is cleared of anything when he came there. If there are burned bodies or traces of houses left, the area is nothing but a jungle that caught fire. He’s angery, really. Right after tracking Alvis down, finding Nai and giving new hope for that villagae, everything just went missing again.

No sign of survival from both Nai and Alvis. No tracks to follow, unlike before that Alvis can be seen on television, he just disappeared. Gone, and probably won’t come back.

                “It wasn’t D5.” I said.

“Just their ally and their new recruit, Lou.” Jaray replied, yeah, Lou is also missing, whether he was killed there also or just gone with the D5.

“I just wonder why they are taking some apprentices.” I said.

“To assist them and to do some errands that require their physical presence.” Roxy answered, and by the way we already told her about the village but she swore not to tell anyone about Nai, now that he’s gone again. “Or probably, to do the first attacks or the preparations for an attack.”

I went silent for a while, “I lead them there.”

Both of them looked at me, and I’m sorry for not orienting you about when and where we are. Actually, I’m fine now, we had our finals exam like three days ago and I can say, I will pass in all subjects. I have just forgotten the problems given to us and the questions that appeared in the exam, especially Logic.

“No, Elly, don’t blame yourself.” Jaray said, “We all thought the link is gone, I’m also wondering why it suddenly appeared again. I’m just out of explanations.”

I understand him, even the Investigation committee found no link before and when they brought me again for some psycho-test, brain waves test and other telepathy-sort of exams. But they found nothing. Of course, the link is gone! Majim’s dead! Unless the link has wifi connections in Mother Earth’s hearth.

“You know what this school year’s been tough.” Roxy said, “So why not attend the Spring festival tomorrow?”

“Oh yeah, I forgot about that.” I said.

“Though Nic’s disqualification in the final pageant is disappointing. I still want to see Ms. Cetou in her stage walk.” Jaray said, “She’s just awesomely beautiful. No question to that.”

Nic got bruised and got skin problems from those needle attacks. Though the committee didn’t disqualify her, she decided about it herself. It’s such a wasted opportunity but I can’t blame her. Her skin is just not in the right condition for a Ms. Universe like walk. Sighs...

Anyways, Spring Festival. It’s just one of those events I missed when I got detained to this other dimension of Blackmirror. Oh yeah, it’s almost a year since that attack and though Sir George seemed fully recovered from it, you can’t blame me for always remembering it.
