“You???” I raised an eyebrow at Jaray, no, both eyebrows. And it dawned on me; his step mom and dad gone, he was found at their doorsteps, the way I had my ability back because of his blood mixing to mine and our birthdays. “Wait, why will we have the same birthdays if I was born two days earlier?”

“It’s because-“ Jaray tried to look for an answer, “I don’t know, they kept on mentioning that I came to them like three days after the date written on the hospital tag around my wrist.”

                “Your dad must’ve-“

“Who’s dad?” Jaray and I asked.

“Elly’s. I mean, the dad who raised him. Mr. Castor must’ve interchanged the tag at the hospital.” Harlley explained and that makes sense.

And SWOOOSH!!!! Came a strong explosion of wind. The tree where we are hiding ourselves barely managed to hold itself to the ground while Harlley grabbed Jaray’s arm as the wind almost caught him.

I peeked to the open grounds and saw Bloodwind with a large, gigantic, frightening bald eagle. Its wing span is almost ten meters and though motionless, its talons and beak are looking deadly. Is she? Is she-

“Myrtha.” Harlley said. “She was defeated. Mylene’s gotten strong. Look, I don’t know what Mylene’s plans are. I don’t know how she will react when she found out about you two. But all I know; D5’s good, they were just set up and the one who kills must be identified.”

“He must belong to one of those-those divisions of tribe you said. I think that’s where all these things are rooted. That civil war inside tribes.” I said, I don’t know, maybe that’s about it.

“Our job’s done.” A deep manly voice said and we all looked at Bloodwind and saw a humanoid water figure standing behind her and you know what’s surprising? Bloodwind’s staring at our direction. Awful.

“Will the students join us?” Bloodwind asked, her face still hidden.

“Absolutely.” He said and suddenly, night spread all around and behind them appeared a group of students.

Students, because I recognized some of them; the young boy who’s messing with the lights in the Fatals and was caught by a three man team of Council members by flooding the whole hallway by blinding flash of light, another one is a taller guy with a metal ball chained at his right leg- the magnet boy in our party last year and the guy who makes earthquake the same one whom I have mistaken to be a bully is also with them together with his friends.

                “What’s happening?” I asked.

“The Council has predicted this would happen. Few days ago, one of Sir George School somewhere east of China is attacked by D5 and some fatals students were taken.” Jaray explained, “NO, the Council is wrong. The students weren’t taken by force. They went with them because they want to.”

“War is coming. Harlley mustn’t be around.” Harlley said, “I can sense it, D5’s gathering forces. Strong forces.”

FLAAAP! Waaack!!!!!! The giant eagle came back to life and started slahing its wings at Bloodwind. I don’t kow how perfectly eagle eyes work at night but Myrtha surely is hitting the target.
